Barred Warbler (K.Webb)

Richard’s Pipit – 1 was flushed from a field near Carn Vean by a Merlin and flew towards Normandy.

Common Rosefinch – 1 on St. Martin’s.

Short-toed Lark – 1 still on the Airfield.

Serin – 1 on Peninnis.

Barred Warbler – An adult trapped and ringed at Porth Hellick.

Woodlark – 1 still in a field between Borough Farm and Watermill Lane.

Wryneck – 1 Peninnis, 1 Porth Minnick, 1 Innisidgen and 1 on Gugh.

Great Spotted Woodpecker – A juvenile trapped and ringed at Porth Hellick.

Pomarine Skua (J.Pender)

BLACK-BROWED ALBATROSS – At least 5 birders saw this bird as it flew past Gugh.

SEMI-PALMATED PLOVER – A small wader flying over Hugh town towards Porthcressa was heard to call and thought to be this species.

Little Bunting – 1 Lower Moors, 1 on St. Martin’s and 1 at Browarth, St. Agnes.

Eastern Yellow Wagtail – 1 in Peninnis Farm fields and in Lower Moors.

Short-toed Lark – 1 on the Airfield.

Barred Warbler – 1 Carn Friars Farm.

Woodlark – 1 in a field between Borough Farm and Watermill Lane.

Little Bunting – 1 Browarth, St. Agnes.

Greenish Warbler – 1 at Veronica Farm, Bryher.

Yellow Wagtail – A probable Eastern Yellow Wagtail was in Lower Moors.

Pallas’s Warbler – 1 on the Garrison.

Barred Warbler – 1 in fields opposite the riding stables.
