St. Mary’s – A Firecrest and 7 Chiffchaff at Carn Friars. 4 Black Redstarts at Deep Point. St. Agnes – The Hoopoe still present, also 3 Firecrests and a Siberian Chiffchaff.

St Mary’s – an imm/fem Common Scoter in the harbour. At Little Porth there were 3 White and 7 Pied Wagtail Porth Hellick found the same ducks present as the last few days Up to 3 Water Rail and 2 Woodcock.
St Mary’s – ‘alba’ wagtails in the hospital field made up of 3 White Wagtail with 10 Pied Wagtail. The Black Redstart was still present at Little Porth and 14 Golden Plover were on the airfield.
Near Eastern Isles – 4 Slavonian Grebe and 2 Black-necked Also between the Islands there was 6 imm/fem Common Scoter, 20+Great Northern and the adult Black-throated Diver. At the airport a pair of Pied Wagtail, 2 Skylark and a fem Sparrowhawk. 8 alba Wagtails flew NE over Star Castle and Read more…
St Mary’s – In The Roads: 26 Great Northern Diver and the adult Black-throated Diver. At the airfield: 15 Pied Wagtail and a male White Wagtail.
St Mary’s – Porth Hellick: Water Rail, Pochard, 2 Wigeon and 3 Teal. A male Firecrest with up to 6+Goldcrest and 3 Chiffchaff.
St Mary’s – 2 fem Wigeon, pair of Teal, 2 Coot and new in, 1st winter male Pochard at Porth Hellick. Siberian Chiffchaff, 2 Firecrest , 2 Woodcock. a fresh Comma at Trenowth
In The Roads, a single Black-throated and 5 Great Northern Diver. Bar Point, St Mary’s – 6 Whimbrel roosting with 9 Bar-tailed Godwits.
St Mary’s – Porth Hellick: 2 fem Wigeon, pair of Teal and 5 Coot. 4 Canada Geese 1 Siberian Chiffchaff. on the airfield-44 Golden Plover, including a single almost in summer plumage. Lower Moors: 12 Meadow Pipit, 9 Curlew and 5 Snipe.The Buzzard was over Carn Vean. A 1st winter Read more…
