St. Mary’s – 3 Green Sandpipers & a Common Sandpiper were on Porth Hellick Pool and an adult Mediterranean Gull was at Porthloo. St. Mary’s – 2 Green Sandpipers and a Common Sandpiper were on Porth Hellick Pool. Tresco – 2 Wood Sandpipers, 2 Greenshanks, 2 Sanderlings and 8 Crossbills. 300 + Manx Shearwaters were north of the island. Samson – The Ruddy Shelduck, a Common Gull and a Mediterranean Gull
St. Mary’s – 2 Mediterranean Gulls were at Porthcressa and 2 Green Sandpipers, a Common Sandpiper & 5 Greenshanks were on Porth Hellick Pool. Tresco – 7 Greenshanks and 5 Little Egrets. St. Agnes – 2 Whimbrels, 5 Curlews and 4 Common Sandpipers.
St. Mary’s – 7 Crossbills were on the Garrison and 6 were at Longstone. The 2 Mediterranean Gulls were still at Porthloo, a Green Sandpiper was on Porth Hellick Pool and nearby the first returning Willow Warbler was was at higher Moors. St. Agnes – A Whimbrel and 2 Curlews
St. Mary’s – 2 Mediterranean Gulls were at Porthloo and a Whimbrel was on Porthcressa beach. Samson – A Ruddy Shelduck of unknown origin was on Green Island. Annet – 300+ Manx Shearwaters were offshore.
St. Mary’s – A Common Sandpiper and 3 Greenshanks were at Porth Hellick. A juvenile Cuckoo was been fed by Rock Pipits near the coastal path by the airfield tuning circle
At sea – A Great Skua, 100+ Manx Shearwaters and 2 Ocean Sunfish were seen from the Scillonian on the crossing from Penzance to St. Mary’s.
St. Mary’s – 3 Crossbills Trenoweth and a Common Sandpiper & 5 Greenshanks were on Porth Hellick Pool. At sea – A short-range pelagic trip produced 5 European Storm-petrels, 20 Manx Shearwaters and 2 Great Skuas. Also 2 Blue Sharks were caught, tagged and released.
