St Mary’s – Kumlien’s Gull and Iceland Gull (juv) in Porthcressa Bay. Black-tailed Godwit still at Lower Moors in Standing Stones field.
The **GYR** did a tour of the islands today starting on St Mary’s over the Garrison at 09.30hrs then over Shipman Head, Bryher at 13.20hrs and finally on Tresco at Carn Near at 17.50hrs. St Mary’s – *CATTLE EGRET* and Iceland Gull (2 juvs) still at the dump this afternoon.

St Mary’s – The bird of the week was obviously the **GYR** (scroll down for photos) at Newmans. This bird was watched for over an hour feeding on a farmyard duck. A Long-eared Owl was near the Hospital during the evening. The *CATTLE EGRET* remained at the allotments near the dump and Read more…

St Mary’s – *CATTLE EGRET* still in allotments by dump. Kumlien’s Gull again at Porth Mellon and Iceland Gull (2 juvs). Black-tailed Godwit still in field near Standing Stone Field at Lower Moors.

Tresco – Sand Martin this morning over Great Pool. Also Pintail (2), Whooper Swan and Barnacle Goose still. Common Scoter (4) off south end and Black-throated Diver.
