St. Mary’s – A very cold day but warmer than the mainland, with consequent cold weather movement. There were 30 Golden Plovers and 22 Lapwings on the airfield, there were other small flocks of Lapwing and Golden Plovers around the island as well as Redwings, Fieldfares.
