Blyth’s Pipit – After going missing for 3 days it was relocated in the Standing Stones Field. Lower Moors.

Rustic Bunting – 1 St. Agnes.

Short-toed Lark – 1 St. Agnes.

Common Rosefinch – 1 St. Agnes and 1 Borough Farm, Tresco.

Pectoral Sandpiper – 1Bryher.

Dotterel – 1 Castle Down, Tresco.

Barred Warbler – 1 near the Health Centre. (more…)

Monday 6th October 2014 IoS Bird Sightings

Highlights form Mondays Nights Log included:

Blyth’s Pipit – The bird in a field on Old Town is now thought by most observers to be a Blyth’s. It transpires that there were 2 birds yesterday, a Richard’s was on the airfield.

Short-toed Lark – 1 St. Agnes.

Common Rosefinch – 1 on Gugh.

Rose-coloured Starling – 1 Pelistry and 1 Bryher.

Barred Warbler – 1 near the Health Centre.

Wryneck – 1 Peninnis and 1 Toll’s Island. (more…)
