Thursday’s birds were: St. Mary’s – The first-winter Ring-billed Gull paid a brief visit to Porthloo. 12 Chiffchaffs were trapped and ringed at Porth Hellick, 3 of which were Siberian Chiffchaffs. St Mary’s – The 1st winter RING-BILLED GULL was still on the airfield St Martin’s – A GREAT-WHITE EGRET was on the flats below Middle Town just before dusk
St Mary’s – The 1st winter RING-BILLED GULL was still on the airfield and showing well. Single Yellow-browed Warblers were on the Porth Hellick Loop, by the seaward hide and in Lower Moors. The latter site also hosted a Firecrest and 2 Siberian Chiffchaffs
