Wet and windy day on the islands produced: St Mary’s – 7 Greenshank, a Dunlin and a Common Sandpiper at Porth Hellick Pool. Steady stream of Gannets and Sandwich Terns flying west past Peninnis Head, including 56 Sandwich Terns in 10 minutes.
A relatively quiet month with most of the interest focused on the seasons Pelagic trips. Julys’ Marsh Sandpiper was still in residence at Porth Hellick Pool on the 1st and remained there until the 7th. (more…)
