Samson – A Spoonbill, a Whimbrel, 27 Curlew and 4 Sandwich Tern. Teän – 12 Curlew.

St. Mary’s – Marsh Harrier over Porthloo. Samson – 8 Whimbrel. Teän – 2 Whimbrel. Western Rocks – Bottlenose Dolphin
The only report of the day was of a Hobby over Old Town, St Mary’s.
St. Agnes – A Common Swift and at Beady Pool a Ringed Plover with chicks. Tresco – 2 Common Swift, a Common Buzzard, 3 Jackdaw and 3 Grey Heron. Annet – 200 Manx Shearwater offshore. St. Mary’s – 60+ Manx shearwater off Deep Point and 6 common Swift at Porth Read more…
St. Mary’s – 3 Swift & 2 Grey Heron at Porth Hellick and a Curlew in Crow Sound. Tresco – 2 drake Teal, a Swift, 6 Grey Heron, a Common Buzzard and a Common Sandpiper. Annet – 450 Manx Shearwater offshore. On the evening pelagic trip there were 10 European Read more…
St. Mary’s – 2 Common Swift. Bryher – 8 Common Swift. St. Martin’s – A Lesser Redpoll. St. Agnes – A Serin and a Golden Oriole.
St. Agnes – The male Serin still present. Samson – Still a Spoonbill on the island. Annet – A Marsh Harrier.
St. Agnes – The male Serin was still on the island, though mobile. Samson – Spoonbill. Tresco – A Lapwing, a drake Tufted Duck, 2 Common Swift and a Sand Martin. The latter is unusual in summer as they do not breed on the islands
St. Mary’s – An unseasonal Mistle Thrush. Annet – A Marsh Harrier and a Raven. Samson – 6 Sanderling. Also on a fishing trip 8 miles south of St. Mary’s a Roseate Tern, a Great Skua, 15 European Storm-petrel, 2 Blue Shark and a Leatherback Turtle
St. Agnes – A Serin, a Swift, a Marsh Harrier and a Kestrel. St. Mary’s – A drake Tufted duck on Porth Hellick Pool and 2 Stock Dove at Normandy.
