Blackburnian Warbler – Much to the relief of the many birders from the main; it was still in Popplestone Fields, Bryher.
Wilson’s Snipe – The bird thought to be this species was still a t Porth Hellick Pool until 12:10when it flew off.
Olive-backed Pipit – 1 still in the field at Trenoweth.
Short-toed Lark – 1 briefly at Green Farm at 13:00 flew off towards Pelistry and was relocated at 15:55 in a field opposite the entrance to Carn Vean Tearooms before flying off again.
Common Rosefinch – 1 still on the Garrison on the road to Newman House (photo) and 1 in the field behind Porth Minnick.
Wryneck – 1 at Lower Town, St. Martin’s.
Yellow-browed Warbler – 1 at Newford Duck Pond, 2 Watermill, 1 Trewince, 1 Borough Farm, 2 Holy Vale,1 Porth Hellick, 1 in the Dump Clump and 1 by the bakery on St. Martin’s.
Cory’s Shearwater – 1 from the Scillonian III on the afternoon return crossing to Penzance.
Great Shearwater – 1 from the Scillonian III on the crossing from Penzance to St. Mary’s and 2 on the return crossing.
Sooty Shearwater – 1 from the Scillonian III on the crossing from Penzance to St. Mary’s.
Balearic Shearwater – 1 from the Scillonian III on the crossing from Penzance to St. Mary’s
Pink-footed Goose – There were now 10 at Higher Town, St. Martin’s.
Cattle Egret – 1 still on the Great Pool, Tresco.
Little Egret – 6 on Newford Island, Porthloo and 2 Pelistry Bay.
Great Northern Diver – 1 between Hats Buoy and St. Martin’s.
Grey Phalarope – 1 from the Scillonian III on the return crossing from St. Mary’s to Penzance.
Shoveler – 1 on the Great Pool, Tresco.
Black-tailed Godwit – 2 on the Great Pool, Tresco.
Whimbrel – 1 on the west side of Porth Cressa Bay.
Woodcock –The first report of the autumn was 1 at Borough Farm.
Great Spotted Woodpecker – The female was in Holy Vale.
Firecrest – 3 Carreg Dhu Gardens, 1 Lower Moors, 1 at Borough Farm.
Mistle Thrush – 1 flew over Newford Duck Pond.
Whinchat – 1 near the airfield turning circle, 1 in the field adjacent to the Porth Hellick trail and 1 Porth Hellick Down, 1 Mount Todden Farm and 1 MacFarland’s Down.
Black Redstart – 1 Trench Lane, 2 in the horse field in front of the airport, 1 on Taylor’s Island, Porthloo, 2 Pelistry and 1 at Hell Bay, Bryher.
Common Redstart – 1 in a horse paddock at Maypole.-
Pied Flycatcher – 1 on Porth Hellick Loop.
Spotted Flycatcher – 1 in the pines above Innisidgen Burial Chamber.
Grey Wagtail – 1 on the Great Pool, Tresco.

Kingfisher – 1 in the harbour near the Lifeboat Station and 2 Old Town Bay.
Great Spotted Woodpecker – The female was again in Holy Vale.
Firecrest – 3 Carreg Dhu Gardens.
Redwing – 1 on the coastal path on the north side of St. Agnes.
Mistle Thrush – 1 flew over the Garrison tennis court.
Black Redstart – 1 Porthloo Boatyard, at Hell Bay, Bryher.
Whinchat – 2 Salakee and 1 in a rapeseed field at the junction of Telegraph Road and Pungies Lane.
Spotted Flycatcher – 1 in trees by Cricket Pitch and 1 by Seven Stones Inn, St. Martin’s.
Yellow Wagtail – 1 flew over Longstone and 1 flew south over Maypole & dropped into a field at Pelistry.
Grey Wagtail – 1 Porth Hellick, 1 over Holy Vale and 1 0n Porth Mellon Beach.
Brambling – 2 flew over Hell Bay, Bryher.
Siskin – 2 flew over Content Lane, 5 flew over the rapeseed field at the junction of Telegraph Road and 12 flew over the church on Tresco.
Snow Bunting – 1 on the coastal path at Lower Town Farm, St. Agnes and 2 near the Daymark, St. Martin’s.
Lapland Bunting – 1 on Shipman Head Down, Bryher.
Reed Bunting – 1 Porth Hellick Pool.

American Buff-bellied Pipit – What was probably the bird last seen on Monday 10th was again in the fields between Carn Friars Lane and Porth Hellick Down.

Fea’s/Desertas Petrel – 1 seen level with Wolf Rock from the Scillonian III on the return trip from St. Mary’s to Penzance.

Common Sandpiper – 1 on the rocks in Porthcressa Bay.
Bar-tailed Godwit – 3 on the Great Pool, Tresco.

Redwing – 2 on the school playing fields and 1 sadly dead when it flew into the window of a house on church Street, Hugh Town.

Firecrest – 1 on the Sunnyside Farm Trail.

Black Redstart – 2 on Porthloo Beach, 1 Carn Morval Point, 2 in a field at the entrance to Carn Vean Tearooms, 1 Pelistry Bay and 1 Popplestone Beach, Bryher
Whinchat – 1 on Wingletang Down, St. Agnes.
Spotted Flycatcher – 1 in trees by Cricket Pitch, St. Martin’s.

Snow Bunting – 3 near the Daymark, St. Martin’s and 12 flew over the Dead Pine Walk on the Garrison.
