Red-breasted Flycatcher – 1 still in the Parsonage Garden and 1 on Barnaby Lane, both St. Agnes.
Woodlark –1 on the Sunnyside Farm Trail.
Water Pipit – 3 in the ploughed field at Parting Carn.
Olive-backed Pipit – A “very probable” flew over the school playing fields towards Lower Moors.
Spoonbill – 3 flew onto Green Island, Samson.
Snow Bunting –1 on Toll’s Island, 1flew north over town Beach 1 on Porth Mellon,1 on Castle Down, Tresco, 1 on the west side of Shipman Head Down, Bryher and 1 at Horse Point, St. Agnes.
Reed Bunting – 1 in the ploughed field at Parting Carn.
Yellow-browed Warbler – 2 on Porth Hellick Loop, 1 in the Dump Clump, 1 Watermill Cove, 1 Holy Vale, 1 Raven Porth, Tresco.
Siberian Chiffchaff – 1 in the ploughed field at Parting Carn, 1 in the Dump Clump, 1 in the Standing Stones Field, 1 near Shooter’s Pool, Lower Moors, 2 Holy Vale.
Firecrest – 1 Kittydown.
Great Northern Diver – 1 flew west past the airport, 2 off Watermill, 1 off Green Island, Samson.
Whooper Swan – 6 flew over Hugh Town Harbour and finally settled on Bryher Pool.
Pale-bellied Brent Goose – 3 off Green Island, Samson.
Pink-footed Goose – 2 on Bryher Pool and 6 flew past Borough Farm, Tresco.
Sooty Shearwater – 1 seen in Scilly waters from the Scillonian III on the crossing from Penzance to St. Mary’s and 1 on the return journey from St. Mary’s to Penzance.
Shelduck – 9 on Samson.
Shoveler – 2 on the Great Pool, Tresco.
Pochard – 2 on the Great Pool, Tresco.
Eider – 1 still off Skirt Island, Tresco.
Little Egret – 1 Pelistry Bay and 13 on the Great Pool, Tresco.
Whimbrel – 4 on rocks west of Watermill.
Bar-tailed godwit – 4 at Pentle Bay, Tresco.
Mediterranean Gull – 12 on Bryher and on 1 St. Martin’s.
Yellow-legged Gull – An adult off Giant’s Castle and 1 from the Scillonian III on the return journey from St. Mary’s to Penzance.
Great Skua – 3 1 from the Scillonian III on the return journey from St. Mary’s to Penzance.
Merlin – 1 St. Martin’s and 1 on Road, Tresco.
Raven –2 St. Martin’s.
Skylark –2 St. Martin’s.
Ring Ouzel – 1 flew over Porth Mellon Industrial Estate toward Peninnis, 1 Giant’s Castle/ Airport turning circle area, 1 Bar Point and 1 on Castle Down, Tresco.

Black Redstart – 4 in the ploughed field at Parting Carn, 2 Porthloo Beach, 2 Bar Point, 1 on Toll’s Island, 1 south of Watermill Cove, 1 Thomas Porth, 3 Halangy Porth, 1 Telegraph, 1 on Castle Down, Tresco, 4 in the school/cricket pitch area, Tresco, 1 on St. Agnes and 3 on St. Martin’s
Spotted Flycatcher – 1 at the campsite on Bryher.
Grey Wagtail – 1 Porth Hellick, 1 on the Great Pool, Tresco, 1 on Bryher and 1 on St. Martin’s.
Brambling – Small numbers scattered around the islands in the Chaffinch flocks,
Chaffinch – A huge influx with 1000’s moving through the islands.
