Monarch Butterfly – 1 was seen again, this time flying over Maypole towards Borough Farm.
Dusky Warbler – 1 still in the bushes at Newford Duck Pond and 1 seen from the ISBG Hide in Lower Moors.
Red-throated Pipit – 1 flew over Watermill Lanetowards Trenoweth.
Bluethroat – 1 still at Gweal Hill, Bryher.
Woodlark – 1 on wires along Pungies Lane.
Common Rosefinch – 1 at Veronica Farm, Bryher.
Red-backed Shrike – 1 on the coastal path just south of Watermill Cove.
Spotted Redshank – 1 still on the Great Pool, Tresco.
Jack Snipe – 2 Lower Moors.
Snow Bunting – 1 on the rocks below Steval on the Garrison.
Yellow-browed Warbler – 1 Shooter’s Pool, Lower Moors and 1 on Old Town Lane.
Siberian Chiffchaff – 3 in Lower Moors and 1 in the Dump Clump.
Pink-footed Goose – 2 on the Great Pool, Tresco.
Common Scoter – 1 near Bryher flew towards Samson.
Eider – The drake was still near Skirt Island, Tresco.
Golden Plover – 5 flew over Bant’s Carn towards Innisidgen.
Whimbrel – 1 Pelistry Bay.
Mediterranean Gull – 7 off Bar Point.
Great Skua – 1 flew southwest past Toll’s Island, Pelistry Bay.
Merlin – 1 around the north of St. Mary’s.
Kingfisher – 1 Lower Moors and it or another in Old Town Bay.
Raven – At least 2 touring St. Mary’s.
Skylark – 1 a field on Pungies Lane and 6 on St. Martin’s.
Redwing – 1 trapped and ringed at Porth Hellick and 1 on St. Martin’s cricket pitch.
Mistle Thrush – 1 in a field north of the end of Pelistry Lane.
Cetti’s Warbler – 1 singing near the ISBG hide in Lower Moors and 1 singing near the Stephen Sussex hide at Porth Hellick Pool.
Whitethroat – 1 by the tennis courts on the Garrison.
Whinchat – 1 at St. Martin’s Campsite.
Black Redstart – 3 Parting Carn, 2 around the SW Water buildings in Hugh Town, 1 in Pilot’s Retreat, 1 on Old Town Lane,2 Pelistry Farm, 3 at Buccabu Cottage on Church Road, 1 Peninnis Farm, 1 on the rocks below Steval on the Garrison, 1 McFarland’s Down, 2 on a shed at Trenoweth, 3 on Castle Down, Tresco, 1 at Rushy Bay, Bryher, 3 by St. Martin’s Fire Station and 3 behind St. Martin’s Bakery.
Spotted Flycatcher – 1 Bryher.
Pied Flycatcher – 1between Newford Duck Pond and Watermill Lane.
Grey Wagtail – 1 seen from the Swarovski Hide on the Great Pool, Tresco.
Brambling – 1 by Airport Lane and 1 by the cricket nets on St. Martin’s.
Siskin – Still lots arriving across the islands.
