Tuesday’s birds were:
St. Mary’s – An Iceland Gull was at Porthloo, 4 Sandwich Terns were by Hugh Town Quay and a Common Whitethroat was at Bant’s Carn.
St. Agnes – 14 Whimbrels and a Cuckoo.
Bryher – 7 Whimbrels.
Wednesday’s birds were:
St. Mary’s – An Iceland Gull was at Porthloo & Porthcressa, 37 Whimbrels were on Porthloo, a Grasshopper Warbler was at Normandy and Common Whitethroats were at Pelistry & Porth Hellick Down. A Merlin was on the island,
St. Martin’s – The Laughing Gull was by Higher Town Quay.
St. Agnes – A Merlin.
Thursday’s birds were:
An Osprey flew over and was seen over St. Mary’s, St. Martin’s, Tresco, St. Agnes and Gugh.
St. Mary’s – An Iceland Gull was at Porthloo and a late Fieldfare was at Carn Friars.
St. Martin’s – The Laughing Gull was still by Higher Town Quay.
St. Agnes – A Merlin and a Cuckoo.
Friday’s birds were:
St. Mary’s – An Iceland Gull & a Reed Bunting were at Porth Hellick and a Cuckoo was on the Golf Course.
St. Agnes – A Woodchat Shrike was on Wingletang Down.
Tresco – A Pintail and 3 Whimbrels.
Inter-island waters – 4 Great Northern Divers were in the Roads.
Saturday’s birds were:
St. Mary’s – A Hobby flew over Old Town, 5 Whimbrels were at Giant’s Castle, a Spotted Flycatcher was at Trenoweth and 3 Black-tailed Godwits & a Cuckoo were at Porth Hellick.
St. Agnes – The Woodchat Shrike was still on Wingletang Down, where there were also 2 Black Redstarts. Also were 10 Whimbrels
