9th April – A Grasshopper Warbler was on Carn Friars Lane at 0725hrs. A Water Rail was in Old Town churchyard and a Common Buzzard flew over Pelistry. Iceland gulls were seen on the Golf course, the Garrison and Porthloo. 2 Blue-headed Wagtails were on Bryher. A Wryneck was on St Martin’s. A male Woodchat Shrike was at Wingltang, St Agnes.
10th April – The Woodchat Shrike remained on St Agnes and an Osprey flew over towards Gugh. The Wryneck was still on St Martins. A Black Redstart and 2 White Wagtails were on Porthcressa.
11th April – A Mistle thrush was at the riding stables early morning. Swallows were reported at Normandy and Carn Friars. A Ring Ouzel was at Porth Hellick Down. Plenty of Chiffchaffs, 2 Sand Martins, a Redwing, a Tree Pipit, Wheatear, Black Redstart, Swallow and a Pied Flycatcher were on Bryher. The Woodchat Shrike was still on St Agnes.
12th April – A drake Common Scoter was in Smith Sound. An Iceland Gull was at Porthcressa and a male White Wagtail was at Little Porth. Ringing at Porth Hellick produced 4 Chiffchaffs, 8 Willow Warblers, Goldcrest, 6 Blackcaps, 5 House Martins, 10 Sand Martins, 2 Swallows and a Blue Tit. 12 GN Divers were in the Roads. 40+ House Martins and a Swallow were at Porth Hellick and a probable Jack Snipe was flushed from near to the seaward hide. The Woodchat was again on St Agnes and a Glaucous Gull was on Samson.
13th April – A Wryneck was at Longstone mid afternoon. An Iceland Gull was at Porthcressa. The Woodchat Shrike, a Redstart and a Pied Flycatcher were on St Agnes. A Black Redstart was at Old Grimsby, Tresco.
14th April – The Woodchat was at the east end of Barnaby Lane, St Agnes and a Black Redstart was on Castella Downs. A Glaucous Gull was at Great Ganilly. Pair of Pintail were on Tresco Great pool. 4 Wheatear were on the golf course
15th April – A Caspian Gull was on St Agnes. A possible Yellow-browed Warbler was in pines at the north end of the golf course. 3 Black-tailed Godwits were at Porth Hellick and 2 Golden Plover were on the airfield. 3 White Wagtails were at Normandy, A Grasshopper Warbler was at Watermill Cove and a Glaucous Gull was at Innisidgen. An Iceland Gull was at Porthcressa
