Friday’s birds were:
St. Mary’s – The Buff-breasted Sandpiper, the Dotterel and 2 Golden Plovers were still on the Airfield. 2 Red-backed Shrikes, a Common Rosefinch, a Wryneck and 2 Whinchats were on Peninnis. The Black-necked Grebe was still in Porthcressa Bay, a Common Redstart was on the Garrison and single Wrynecks were by the Golf Course entrance & at Bant’s Carn.
St. Agnes – The Lesser Yellowlegs was still on the big Pool.
Tresco – A Woodchat Shrike, a Little Stint, 10 Pale-bellied Brent Geese and a Wryneck.
Bryher – A Common Rosefinch and a Common Redstart.
Saturday’s birds were:
St. Mary’s – The 2 Red-backed Shrikes were still in fields on Peninnis and the Black-necked Grebe was still in Porthcressa Bat. A Wryneck was at Trenoweth and a Common Redstart & a Firecrest were on the Garrison. 10 Pale-bellied Brent Geese, a Mediterranean Gull and 2 Bar-tailed Godwits were at Porthloo.
St. Agnes – The Lesser Yellowlegs was still on the big Pool and the Short-toed Lark was still in Browarth Fields.
Gugh – A Common Rosefinch.
Bryher – A Wryneck, a Common Rosefinch, a Common Redstart and a Lapland Bunting.
Tresco – The Little Stint and the Woodchat Shrike were still present.
