Fridays Birds were:
St Mary’s – An Osprey flew over St Mary’s during the afternoon.
St Agnes – A Turtle Dove was still on the island
Bryher – A Turtle Dove was on Samson Hill as was the Hooded Crow. Six Swifts were over Shipman head Down and two Whimbrel flew up Tresco Channel
Saturdays birds were:
St Mary’s – Two Cuckoos were at Porth Hellick Down.
Bryher – A Turtle Dove and two Spotted Flycatchers were seen today
Sundays Birds were:
Tresco – A good mix of waders were seen along the south shore with Dunlin, 8+ Sanderling and two Turnstone and a Grey Plover plus two Curlew and a Whimbrel nearby
Mondays Birds were:
Tresco – The Iberian Chiffchaff was still singing intermittently near the Abbey. A Hobby was over the Great Pool where two Grey Herons and a Little Egret were roosting.
St Mary’s – A female Wheatear was near Normandy
Annet – A Marsh Harrier was seen over the island during the afternoon.
At Sea – At least thirty Storm Petrels and a Great Skua were seen on the evening pelagic trip.
Tuesdays Birds were:
Tresco – Two Hobby were over the Great Pool
St Agnes – A Whimbrel and two Curlew were roosting on Porth Killier
