Saturday’s birds were:
St. Mary’s – A Merlin, a Yellow-browed Warbler, a Siberian Chiffchaff & 4 Firecrests were at Lower Moors and 2 Black Redstarts were on Porthloo Beach. A Northern Willow Warbler, 4 Firecrests & 4 Siskins were at Higher Moors and the female Great Spotted Woodpecker was still in Holy Vale. A Yellow-browed Warbler & 5 Firecrests were at Porth Hellick and a Firecrest & 3 Woodcocks were at Newford.
Sunday’s birds were:
St. Mary’s – 5 Black Redstarts and a late Wheatear were at Little Porth.
Monday’s birds were:
St. Mary’s – 5 Black Redstarts were on Porthloo Beach and a Yellow-browed Warbler was in Lower Moors.
Tuesday’s birds were:
St. Mary’s – 6+ Black Redstarts were on Porthloo Beach, 1 was on Old Town Beach and 1 was in a garden on High Lanes. A Cetti’s Warbler was heard at Porth Hellick, this was probably the bird trapped and ringed there on Oct 31st.
