Thursday 9th July 2015 IoS Bird Sightings

St. Mary’s – 2 Tufted Ducks, 5 Black-tailed Godwits and 3 Greenshanks were on Porth Hellick Pool. 200+ Manx Shearwaters flew past Deep Point.

Tresco – A Redshank, a Turnstone, a Common Sandpiper and 2 Whimbrels.

Samson – A Whimbrel.

Annet – 800+ Manx Shearwaters were offshore and the subadult Common Crane was on the island late evening.
