Wednesday’s birds were:
St. Mary’s – An Iceland Gull flew from Hugh Town harbour towards Porthcressa, the juvenile Rose-coloured Starling was still in the allotments opposite the incinerator and a Yellow-browed Warbler was in Lower Moors. 2 Balearic Shearwaters, a Long-tailed Duck and 7 Common Scoters were seen from McFarland’s Down,
St. Agnes – 2 Iceland Gulls, a first-winter & a second winter, were at St. Warna’s Cove.
Thursday’s birds were:
St. Mary’s – A juvenile Iceland Gull was at Porthloo, 2 Balearic Shearwaters were between Deep Point & Watermill and the 2 Greenland White-fronted Geese were still on Salakee Farm. A Siberian Chiffchaff and a Yellow-browed Warbler were in Lower Moors.
St. Agnes – A juvenile Glaucous Gull was on Periglis Beach.
Tresco – A Long-tailed Duck and a Scaup were on Abbey Pool.
Samson – 2 Spoonbills.
Friday’s birds were:
St. Mary’s – A juvenile Glaucous Gull & a juvenile Iceland Gull were seen at Porthloo and the juvenile Rose-coloured Starling was still in the allotments opposite the incinerator.
Samson – A Spoonbill.
Saturday’s birds were:
St. Mary’s – The juvenile Glaucous Gull commuted between Porthlow & Porth Mellon and 2 Balearic Shearwaters flew past Peninnis. The Yellow-browed Warbler was still in Lower Moors and the Serin seen in December showed again in the field on the corner of Rosehill and Rocky Hills.
St. Agnes – A juvenile Glaucous Gull was on Periglis Beach.
Gugh – An adult Glaucous Gull was feeding on a dead seal
