St. Mary’s – A Ring Ouzel & a Brambling were on the Garrison, a Ring Ouzel was on Peninnis, a Swallow & 40 Linnets were in Lower Moors and a 3rd-winter Iceland Gull & 4 Black Redstarts were on Porthloo Beach, where a Sand Martin flew by. The 6 Greenland White-fronted Geese were still at Carn Friars Farm in the field behind the ringing station and the drake Pintail was still on Porth Hellick Pool.
Tresco – The 3 Ring-necked Ducks, a Common Scoter and the Green Sandpiper were all still on the Great Pool. 4 Short-eared Owls were in the Dunes behind Pentle Bay and the first Tree Pipitof the year was seen
