St Mary’s – A new Spoonbill was seen in flight over Lower Moors before settling at Porth Hellick beach. On Porth Hellick Pool the six Greenland White-fronted Geese and the male Scaup are still present.
A Yellow-browed Warbler was at Higher Moors and a Brambling was in Holy Vale.

Tresco – The second Ruddy Shelduck for Scilly was found on the Abbey Pool this morning. It was fully winged, un-ringed and apparently wild. Arriving as it did in strong winds that originated in central Europe with a new Spoonbill and two Yellow-browed Warblers its origin is open to more question than usual with this species.
Elsewhere on the island the three Ring-necked Ducks, a Little Grebe and four Whooper Swans were on the Great Pool. A Waxwing flew over Rowesfield, a Yellow-browed Warbler was at the Abbey Crossroads and three Lesser Redpoll were also noted
