St. Mary’s – There was a large influx of Blackbirds with ‘100’s’ on the island, with 420 just at Porth Hellick there was also an accompanying but smaller influx of winter thrushes e.g. 150 Fieldfare and 150 Redwing at Porth Hellick.
Also at Porth Hellick were the 6 Greenland White-fronted Geese, a Lapwing, a Woodcock and a Jack Snipe was trapped and ringed. 3 Crossbills & a Woodcock were on the Garrison and 3 Brambling and a Skylark flew over High Lanes.
Tresco – The 6 Whooper Swans were still on the Great Pool and the 3 Ring-necked Ducks had re-appeared.
Teän/St. Helens – 10 Great Northern Divers were between these islands.
