Western Bonelli’s Warbler – 1 was still at Higher Town, St. Martin’s.
Baird’s Sandpiper – A wader that was probably this species was seen on Porth Hellick Beach before promptly disappearing.
Buff-breasted Sandpiper – 1 on Peninnis moved to the airfield and then back to Peninnis.
Coal Tit – The first record since 2008 of this genuine Scilly rarity was seen near the Seven Stones Inn on St. Martin’s.
Ortolan Bunting – 1 was still at Little Porth and another was on the Golf Course, near the clubhouse.
Red-breasted Flycatcher – 1 was on the Porth Hellick Loop Trail.
Yellow-browed Warbler – 2 Higher Moors, 1 Lower Moors and 1 on the Garrison.
Dotterel – 1 on Peninnis moved to the airfield and then back to Peninnis.
Great Spotted Woodpecker – This Scilly rarity was seen again at Longstone.
Spoonbill – 1 on Samson.
Pink-footed Geese – 8 on Tresco.
Sooty Shearwater – 7 were seen from the Scillonian on the Penzance to St. Mary’s Crossing.
Tufted Duck – 1 on the Great Pool, Tresco.
Common Scoter – A female was off St. Martin’s.
Little Egret – 10 in Tresco.
Hobby – 1 was seen over the airfield and then over Lower Moors.
Merlin – A male and female on, St.Mary’s.
Grey Plover – 2 on Samson.
Jack Snipe – 1 on Porth Hellick Pool.
Kingfisher – 1 Old Town Bay.
Common Redstart – 1 at Porth Hellick.
Firecrest – 1 was in Old Town Churchyard and 2 were on the Garrison.
Pied flycatcher – 1 on Tresco and 1 on St. Martin’s.
Siskin – 9 were in a garden at Holy Vale.
Lapland Bunting – 1 was on St. Martin’s
