St. Mary’s – 2 Wood Sandpipers & a Golden Oriole on Lower Moors, another Golden Oriole on Porthloo Lane and 4 more on the east side of the airfield. A Quail was on the Garrison, a Short-toed Lark & a Woodchat Shrike were on the corner of Porthloo Lane and & Telegraph Road and another Woodchat Shrike was west of the airport terminal. An Iceland Gull was below the quay car park and a Red Kite toured St. Mary’s. The Eider was still off Pendrethen, the Pink-footed Goose was still at Salakee and 5 Common Scoter were off the Garrison.
Tresco – A White-winged Black Tern was over Abbey Pool, this is the first record since October 1995 and only the fourth for Scilly. There were also 5 Spotted Flycatchers on the island.
St. Agnes – A Black Kite, 7 Turtle doves, 9 Spotted Flycatchers, a Garden Warbler, 12 Sanderlings and 19 Dunlins.
Annet – a Purple Sandpiper.
Bryher – A Woodchat Shrike, a Tufted Duck and 3 Golden Oriole.
St. Martin’s – A Golden Oriole, a male Hen Harrier and 4 Common Scoter
