St. Mary’s – Both the Northern Waterthrush and the Black and White Warbler were in the woods at Lower Moors, between Shooters’ Pool and Old town. The warbler was showing well but the Waterthrush was very mobile and elusive. The Red-eyed Vireo was relocated in the elms on Lower Broome, Sallyport and the Solitary Sandpiper & the Blue-winged Teal were still at Newford duck Pond. 4 Buff-breasted Sandpipers & a Dotterel were on the airfield and nearby a first summer female Woodchat Shrike was near the airport terminal building, 2 Pectoral Sandpipers were commuting between Lower Moors & Porth Hellick Pool, the Bee-eater was still in the Watermill area and the juvenile Woodchat Shrike was till near the Woolpack volunteer accommodation block on the Garrison. A juvenile female Goshawk was reported flying over Lower Moors.
Tresco – 3 Pectoral Sandpipers on the Great Pool and a juvenile Red-backed Shrike in the bushes by Abbey Pool. Also on the island were 9 Brent Geese, 3 Curlew Sandpipers, a Wryneck, a Common Buzzard and a Yellow-legged Gull.
St. Martin’s – An Ortolan Bunting was on the coastal path south of the hotel and a Lapland bunting was near Top Rock.
St. Agnes – The Baird’s Sandpiper was still the big Pool.
