St. Mary’s – A Tufted Duck, a fly-over Hobby, a Wood Sandpiper, a Pied Flycatcher & a Wood Warbler were at Porth Hellick, 4 Ring Ouzels were nearby on Porth Hellick Down. A Great Spotted Woodpecker was in holy Vale, a Wood Warbler was at Carn Friars and the Purple Heron was still in Lower Moors. On the Garrison, the Woodchat Shrike was still near Steval House, a splendid male Common Redstart was in the garden of Christmas House and nearby a Hoopoe was on the lawn of Holly Cottage. A second Hoopoe was found on the airfield early in the evening.
