Monday 6th December 2010 IoS Bird Reports

St. Mary’s – The Water Pipit & Black Redstart were still by the quay car park, the Black Redstart was still at Little Porth and the 3 Pale-bellied Brent Geese & the Red-breasted Merganser were still at Porth Mellon. 2 Firecrests, 4 Siberian Chiffchaffs, a Yellow-browed Warbler, a Common Buzzard and 2 Jack Snipe were in Lower Moors. 5 Siberian Chiffchaffs, 2 Firecrests and a Little Grebe were at Porth Hellick.

Tresco – A female Scaup. a drake Goldeneye, a drake Shoveler, 4 Pink-footed Geese and 3 Long-tailed Tits, the latter being a very scarce species on Scilly.
