Dusky Warbler – 1 reported belatedly last night was still present today in the field behind Blackbird Perch Hosse, Sandy Lane, St. Martin’s.

Red-flanked Bluetail – 1 still at Higher Moors.

Radde’s Warbler – 1 still by the desalination plant at Mount Todden.

Lesser Yellowlegs – 1 still on Simpson’s  Field, Tresco.

Hawfinch –  1 flew over Peninnis and 1 over Higher Moors. 1 

Cattle Egret – 1 dropped into Porth Hellick Pool at dusk

Great White Egret – 1 on Abbey Pool, Tresco.

Goldeneye – 2 still on the Abbey Pool, Tresco.

Pink-footed Goose – 8 in a field between Pelistry Farm and Mount Todden Farm.

Lapwing – 1 flew over Carn Vean and Holy Vale.

Golden Plover – 1 flew over St. Agnes.

Jack Snipe – 2 still on Lower Moors Pool.

Marsh Harrier – 1 over Annet also seen over Porth Hellick.

Kingfisher – 1 Porthloo and 1 Porth Mellon.

Yellow-browed Warbler – 2 Lower Moors, 2 near the Stephen Sussex hide, Porth Hellick, 2 Porth Hellick Loop, 1 Carn Friars, 2 Newford Duck Pond, 1 Jac-a-Ba, 5 on Pool Road, Tresco and 4 on St. Agnes.

Siberian Chiffchaff – 1 Watermill and 1 in St. Agnes Lighthouse Garden.

Lesser Whitethroat  – A possible “Blythi” at Troy Town, St. Agnes.

Firecrest – 2 at Rowesfield Crossroads, Tresco.

Ring Ouzel –1 on Peninnis by the Millstone and 1 still on Castella Down, St. Agnes.

Black Redstart – 8 Porthloo, 2 Porth Mellon, 3 on St. Agnes and 2 on Gugh.

Grey Wagtail – 1 Newford Duck Pond.

Siskin – 1 over Carn Vean,

Brambling – 1 Trenoweth and 1 on Gugh.

Friday (01/11)

Radde’s Warbler – 1 still by the desalination plant at Mount Todden.

Lesser Yellowlegs – 1 still on Simpson’s  Field, Tresco.

Red-rumped Swallow   – 1 flew over Hell Bay Hotel, Bryher and later put in brief appearances over Porth Hellick Pool and Hugh Town.

Richard’s Pipit  – 1 flew over Green Farm  towards Carn Vean and it or another at the end of Barnaby Lane on Wingletang, St. Agnes.

Serin – 1 still in the pumpkin field behind the fire station at New Grimsby, Tresco.

Hoopoe –1 still on Bryher at Stinking Porth.

Spotted Crake – 1 again seen briefly in Lower Moors.

Hawfinch – 1 Holy Vale 1 on the Sunnyside Farm Trail, 2 flew over the Strand, Hugh Town, 1 on Bryher and 5 flew east over St. Agnes.

Barn Owl – 1 was heard  at 06:12 in the vicinity of Longstone Cottage and what was probably it was seen hunting over fields at Longstone at 20:00.

Cattle Egret – 2 flew from Porth Hellick Pool at dawn and were seen flying past Porth Hellick House towards Longstone.

Great White Egret –  1 flew over Kittydown towards Porth Hellick and 1 on  Plumb hill, Tresco.

Spoonbill – 3 Samson Flats.

Whooper Sean – 11 Great Pool, Bryher and 5 on Tresco.

Pink-footed Goose  – 8 still in a field at Mount Todden.

Great Northern Diver – 2 in the Roads, 6 off Watermill and 3 on Bryher.

Mediterranean Gull  – 15 seen in  Scilly waters seen from the Scillonian III on the return trip from St. Mary’s to Penzance.

Cory’s Shearwater  – 8  were southeast of Gugh and 6 seen in  Scilly waters seen from the Scillonian III on the return trip from St. Mary’s to Penzance.

Goldeneye – 2 on Tresco.

Golden Plover – 1 on Tresco.

Grey Plover – 2 on Bryher.

Common Sandpiper  – 1 Watermill.

Whimbrel – 1 at Innisidgen,

Woodcock – 1 Holy Vale.

Great Spotted Woodpecker  – 1 at Carn Friars.

Yellow-browed Warbler – 2 Holy Vale, 1 in the elms behind the Dump Allotments, 2 in the Dump Clump, 5 in a field at Newford and 7  on Tresco.

Siberian Chiffchaff  – 1 singing  in Lower Moors by the Standing Stones Field.

Willow Warbler – 1a “northern type” in  fields at Newford.

Lesser Whitethroat  – A possible “Blythi” at Troy Town, St. Agnes.

Firecrest– 1 in  fields at Newford, 1 at Salakee, 3 at Longstone and 1 at Innisidgen.

Fieldfare – 50+ over Mount Todden. 

Redwing – 200 in  fields at Newford.

Mistle Thrush – 2 flew over Kittydown,

Ring Ouzel – 1 still in a field on the east side of King Edward’s Road, Peninnis.

Black Redstart – 4 flew in off the sea and landed below Peninnis Lighthouse,1 at the Old Quay, St. Mary’s Harbour, 3 at Porth Mellon, 2 Porthloo, 5 at Porth Cressa, 5 on Tresco and 3 on Bryher.

Siskin  – 10 over the Dump Clump and 11 in  fields at Newford.

Brambling – 1 flew east over Pelistry, 5 in  fields at Newford and 1 on the Sunnyside Farm Trail.

Reed Bunting – 1 by the seaward Hide at Porth Hellick Pool, 1 in  fields at Newford and 1 on Tresco.

Leather Turtle – 1 was seen in  Scilly waters seen from the Scillonian III on the return trip from St. Mary’s to Penzance.

Saturday (02/11)

Cattle Egret – 2 in a field behind Sage House and 1 in a field at the Riding Stables.

Great White Egret – 1 at Apple Bay, Tresco.

Lapwing – 1 flew north of the airfield.

Yellow Browed Warbler  – 1 Standing Stones Field, 1 Higher Moors, 1 Carn Friars,  2 Holy Vale, 4 in the vicinity of Higher Moors pumping station and 1 on Tresco.

Firecrest – 1 Holy Vale and 2 at Pendrathen boat park.

Ring Ouzel  – 2 in a cow field on the west side of Peninnis, 1 on Porth Hellick Beach (photo) and 1 on St. Martin’s.

Black Redstart – 8 Little Porth and 4 on Tresco.

Brambling – 1 Sunnyside Farm Trail.
