European Storm-petrel – 30 on an evening pelagic 10 km south of St. Mary’s.
Cory’s Shearwater – 300 on an evening pelagic 10 km south of St. Mary’s. 20+ at a tuna boil of Porth Hellick Down.
Great Shearwater – 350 on an evening pelagic 10 km south of St. Mary’s (photo).
Sooty Shearwater – 50 on an evening pelagic 10 km south of St. Mary’s.
Manx Shearwater – 1000 on an evening pelagic 10 km south of St. Mary’s.
Atlantic Bluefin Tuna – 200+ on an evening pelagic 10 km south of St. Mary’s. They gave amazing views in a feeding frenzy within metres of the boat. The sea was “boiling” and alive with Gulls, Gannets and Shearwaters.
Short-beaked Common Dolphin – 35 were attracted to the feeding frenzy.
