Glossy Ibis – 1 still in field in the polythene covered field between Carreg Dhu and Parting Carn before flying to the field at the junction to Green Farm/ Pelistry opposite the riding stables, where it was flushed by a pheasant!!
Great White Egret – 1 flew from Porth Hellick and lost to view.
Serin – 1 in a field at Hillside Farm, Bryher.
Ortolan Bunting – 1 flew from field by the fire Station on Bryher and then landed near the hotel.
Melodious Warbler – 1 still on Bryher, it had moved to another field at Popplestone.
Barred Warbler – 1 still at the bottom of Cove Vean, St. Agnes, 1 in the pumpkin field behind the New Inn, Tresco and 1 in the Standing Stones Field
Rose-coloured Starling – 1 around Hugh Town and 1 on Bryher.
Red-backed Shrike – 1 still on Bryher at Hillside Farm.
Red-breasted Flycatcher – 1 at Watermill.
Wryneck– 1 still in a field between Maypole and Borough Farm, St. Mary’s.
Cory’s Shearwater – c750 on the daytime pelagic trip to Seven Stones Reef. 100s of birds were passing Peninnis, e.g., 26 in 5 minutes.
Great Shearwater – c750 on the daytime pelagic trip to Seven Stones Reef. 46 flew past Peninnis in 95 minutes.
Sooty Shearwater – 14 on the daytime pelagic trip to Seven Stones Reef. 7 flew west past Peninnis.
Balearic Shearwater – 1 flew west past Peninnis.
Manx Shearwater – 4 on the daytime pelagic trip to Seven Stones Reef. 1 seen in Scilly waters seen from the Scillonian III on the morning crossing from Penzance to St. Mary’s.

Merlin – 1 flew from St. Agnes to Gugh and continued towards the Garrison.
Hobby – 1 flew from Kittydown towards Porth Hellick.
Turtle Dove – 1 on the wires by the National Grid sub-station, which then flew towards the hospital and 1 in the same field as the Pink-footed Goose at Normandy.
Firecrest – 3 Content, 1 at Carreg Dhu and 2 on Bryher.
Cetti’s Warbler – 2 Higher Moors.
Yellow-browed Warbler – 1 by the road at Higher Moors.
Common Whitethroat – 2 in the pumpkin field behind the New Inn, Tresco.
Lesser Whitethroat – 1 in the Standing Stones Field, 1 by Tresco Stores and 1 at Higher Moors which was thought to be 1 of the eastern races.
Garden Warbler – 1 at Higher Town, St. Martin’s.
Fieldfare – 1 on Bryher.
Redwing – The first of the autumn was 1 on the airfield and 1 was at Content.
Black Redstart – 5 St. Mary’s, 2 Tresco, 1 on Bryher and 1 on St. Agnes.
Common Redstart – 1 in a field on king Edward’s Road, Peninnis and 1 by Tresco Cricket Pitch.
Whinchat – 1 still in fields on King Edward’s Road, 2 Tresco and 2 on Bryher.
Pied Flycatcher – 1 still on the top path above Holy Vale and 1 by the Newford Farm shop.
Spotted Flycatcher – 2 on Tresco and 1 in afield on Old Town Lane.
Yellow Wagtail – 1 flew south over Longstone.
Siskin – Still plenty around.

Red-footed Booby – After not been seen since Sunday, it was back on the Bishop Rock Lighthouse in the evening.

Great Shearwater – 429 flew past Peninnis Head between 07:15 & 12:15, 5 flew west past Horse Point between 09:25 and 12:00 and 27 seen in Scilly waters from the Scillonian III on the return trip from St. Mary’s to Penzance.
Sooty Shearwater – 102 flew past Peninnis Head between 07:15 & 12:15, 100 flew west past Horse Point between 09:25 and 12:15 and 7 seen in Scilly waters from the Scillonian III on the return trip from St. Mary’s to Penzance.

Ortolan Bunting – 1 still in weedy fields at the southwest corner of Samson Hill, Bryher.
Buff-breasted Sandpiper – 1 with a Golden Plover flock on the Golf Course, which then flew onto the airfield and onto near the Daymark on St. Martin’s, before returning to the Airfield.

Great Spotted Woodpecker – 1 drumming at the junction of Pungies Lane/Watermill Lane.
Skylark – 1 above S t. Martin’s Bakery.
Firecrest – Still 2 in Carreg Dhu Gardens and 2 in the pines opposite the 2 benches between Maypole & Pelistry.
Cetti’s Warbler – 1 at Porth Hellick.
Yellow-browed Warbler – 1 in Old Town Churchyard, 1 on the Garrison,1 on the north side of the road Porth Hellick/Higher Moors and 1 at Perpitch, St. Martin’s.

Pallid Harrier – A juvenile flew east over Middle Town, St. Martin’s and was then seen in Lower Moors, where it perched in a tree before flying to Tresco (photos). This is only the sixth record for Scilly.
Arctic Warbler – 1 still on St. Martin’s, near the Karma Hotel.
Buff-breasted Sandpiper – 1 still on the airfield near the turning circle.
Glossy Ibis – 1 seen over Normandy and then St. Agnes and then back to Lower Moors
Red-backed Shrike – 1 still in Hillside Farm fields, Bryher.
Rose-coloured Starling – 1 around Sallyport/ Little Porth and
Little Bunting – 2 on St. Agnes Cricket Pitch and then flew off towards the Chapel.

Lesser Whitethroat –1 in Holy Vale.
Black Redstart – 3 on St. Mary’s
Common Redstart –1 around Longstone Lodge and in the roadside hedge between the entrances to Pelistry and Carn Vean Tearooms.
Whinchat –1 on the west side of Peninnis.
Pied Flycatcher –1 still on the top path above Holy Vale Trail.
Spotted Flycatcher –1 in Old Town Churchyard, 1 in the Dead Pine Walk on the Garrison and 1 the garden of St. Agnes lighthouse.
Redpoll –1 flew over Normandy swimming Pool.
Brambling –1 at Content was the first of the autumn.
