Yellow-throated Vireo? – A bird seen very briefly in the pines by 2 people was though most likely to be this species
Northern Parula – It was still shoeing on and off in the willow behind St. Martin’s cricket pitch.
Glossy Ibis – 1 toured St. Mary’s, landed briefly in Lower Moors and the flew over Porth Cressa and over Morning Point.
Cory’s Shearwater – 52 in Scilly waters, seen from the Scillonian III on the morning crossing from Penzance to St. Mary’s and 100+on the return trip. 15 flew past Horse Point, St. Agnes.
Great Shearwater – 5 in Scilly waters, seen from the Scillonian III on the morning crossing from Penzance to St. Mary’s and 10 on the return trip.
Balearic Shearwater – 1 in Scilly waters, seen from the Scillonian III on the morning crossing from Penzance to St. Mary’s and 2 on the return trip.
Sooty Shearwater – 1 in Scilly waters, seen from the Scillonian III on the afternoon crossing from St. Mary’s to Penzance.
European Storm=petrel – 2 in Scilly waters, seen from the Scillonian III on the afternoon crossing from St. Mary’s to Penzance.
Great Skua – `1 in Scilly waters, seen from the Scillonian III on the morning crossing from Penzance to St. Mary’s.
Pectoral Sandpiper – 1 still at Porth Hellick Pool.
Short-toed Lark – 1 still in the large field at Castella, St. Agnes.
Melodious Warbler – 1 still in Popplestone Fields, Bryher.
Common Rosefinch c briefly in brambles by St. Mary’s rubbish dump.
Red-backed Shrike – The juvenile was seen again in the Standing Stones Field, Lower Moors.
Red-breasted Flycatcher – 1 between Rosevear and Troy Town, St. Agnes.
Wryneck – 2 on St. Mary’s, 1 on Tresco and 1 on St.Martin’s.
Grey Phalarope – 5 in Scilly waters, seen from the Scillonian III on the morning crossing from Penzance.
Grey Plover – 1 at Porthloo.
Curlew Sandpiper – 1 on St. Agnes.
Marsh Harrier – 1 over Lunnon Farm and Porth Hellick before moving to St. Martin’s.
Firecrest c– 1 still Carreg Dhu.
Cetti’s Warbler – 1 singing near the Stephen Sussex hide on Porth Hellick Pool.
Whinchat – 4 on St. Mary’s.
Pied Flycatcher – 1 Carreg Dhu.
Spotted Flycatcher – 1 Carreg Dhu and 1 in Middle Town Pines, St. Martin’s.
Yellow Wagtail – 2 at Longstone.
Monarch Butterfly – 1 at Browarth, St. Agnes.

Bobolink – A “probable” flew west over Sandy Lane.
Buff-breasted Sandpiper – A juvenile was on the airfield briefly in the evening before flying off northward.
Pectoral Sandpiper – 1 still at Porth Hellick Pool.
Glossy Ibis – 1 again touting St. Mary’s.
Cory’s Shearwater – 245 flew past Peninnis Head between 09:30 & 10:30.
Sooty shearwater – 3 flew past Peninnis Head between 09:30 & 10:30.
Great Skua – 1 flew past Peninnis Head between 09:30& 10:30.
Marsh Harrier – 1 seen around St. Mary’s.
Merlin – 1 in the Dead Pine Walk on the Garrison.
Kingfisher – 1 on Porth Hellick Pool.
Wryneck – 1 in Peninnis Allotments.
Firecrest – 1 at Carreg Du, 2 on the Garrison and 1 at Newford Duck Pond.
Common Nightingale – 1 still High Cross Lane at the north of the airfield.
Pied Flycatcher – 1 at Carreg Dhu ,1 between Newford Duck Pond and the top of Watermill and 1 in the Dead Pine Walk on the Garrison
Yellow Wagtail – 1 in the Dead Pine Walk on the Garrison and 4 in fields between Longstone and Sandy Lane.

Red-eyed Vireo – The fifth of the autumn was 1 on Barnaby Lane, St. Agnes. Each inhabited island has now had one this tear.
Buff-breasted Sandpiper – 1 flushed on St. Agnes before settling at Little Peraskin
Pectoral Sandpiper – 1 at Little Peraskin, St. Agnes.
Short-Lark – 1 still in big field at Castella Down, St. Agnes.
Glossy Ibis – 1 again touting St. Mary’s.

Whinchat – 2 by St. Mary’s Hospital, 2 on the western side of Peninnis and 1 at Tresco Heliport.

Spotted Flycatcher – 2 on St. Mary’s, 4 on St. Martin’s and 1 on St. Agnes
