Great Shearwater – 15 on a daytime fishing/birding trip 15 km northwest of St. Mary’s quay.

Balearic Shearwater – 1 on a daytime fishing/birding trip 15 km northwest of St. Mary’s quay.

Sooty Shearwater – 40 on a daytime fishing/birding trip 15 km northwest of St. Mary’s quay.

Manx Shearwater – 40 on a daytime fishing/birding trip 15 km northwest of St. Mary’s quay.

Great Skua – 5 on a daytime fishing/birding trip 15 km northwest of St. Mary’s quay.

Arctic Skua – 2 adult dark morph on a daytime fishing/birding trip 15 km northwest of St. Mary’s quay.

Wryneck – 7+ on St. Mary’s (including trapped & ringed at Porth Hellick Ringing Station),1 on the coastal path between Watermill & Innisidgen, 1 near the Health Centre, 7 on Bryher and 2 at the entrance to Little Arthur Farm, St. Martin’s

Green Sandpiper – 3 flew high over Sunnyside, 1 flew over the Health Centre, 1 on Porth Hellick Pool and 1 flew over Bryher.

Curlew Sandpiper – A juvenile on Great Porth. Bryher.

Whimbrel – 1 on Bryher.

Common Swift – 1 over Peninnis.

Firecrest – 1 content (photo).

Common Whitethroat – 2 in the Dead Pine Walk on the Garrison, 1 on Peninnis, 1 Higher Moors and 6 on Bryher.

Garden Warbler – 1 at the Rosehill entrance to Lower Moors and in the Dead Pine Walk on the Garrison and 1 on Bryher.

Marsh Warber – 1 in the Dead Pine Walk on the Garrison.

Whinchat – 2 on Peninnis, 4 Content, and 11 on Bryher.

Common Redstart – 1 on Bryher.

Spotted Flycatcher – 14+ on St. Mary’s and 18 on Bryher.

Pied Flycatcher – 19+ on St. Mary’s and 10 on Bryher.

Tree Pipit – 1 at Longstone and 1 flew over Rosehill, and 1 Content.

Red-footed Booby – Still intermittently on the Bishop Rock Lighthouse, seen at 10:00 but not present at 13:40 and back at 17:42 until dusk.

Cory’s Shearwater – 105 on a daytime fishing/birding trip 5 km southwest of Bishop Rock, 150+ in Scilly waters from the Scillonian III on the morning crossing from Penzance to St. Mary’s and 45 on the evening pelagic trip.

Great Shearwater – 8 on a daytime fishing/birding trip 5 km southwest of Bishop Rock, 3 in Scilly waters from the Scillonian III on the morning crossing from Penzance to St. and 46 on the evening pelagic trip.

Sooty Shearwater – 2 on a daytime fishing/birding trip 5 km southwest of Bishop Rock and 1 on the evening pelagic trip.

Manx Shearwater – 120 on a daytime fishing/birding trip 5 km southwest of Bishop Rock and 50+ on the evening pelagic trip.

Great Shearwater – 20+ near the Bishop Rock and c300 on a “Seabird trip” 1.5 miles northeast of Round Island.

Sooty Shearwater – 6 on a “Seabird trip” 1.5 miles northeast of Round Island.

Manx Shearwater – c 500 on a “Seabird trip” 1.5 miles northeast of Round Island.

Great Skua – 1 on a “Seabird trip” 1.5 miles northeast of Round Island.

Lapland Bunting – 1 near the windsock on the airfield.

Common Rosefinch – a juvenile was feeding in a hedge on the track from Carn Vean to Pelistry Bay.

Red-backed Shrike – The juvenile was still in the Salakee Farm fields.
