Little Bunting – 1 in a field at Content Farm.

Great White Egret – 1 Shooters’ Pool. D

Merlin  – A male over Bant’s Carn

Yellow-browed Warbler – 1 in the bushes by the screen at Shooters’ Pool.

Firecrest – 1 at Longstone.

Monday (25/11)

Dusky Warbler – 1 still in bushes halfway along the path from the road to the Stephen Sussex hide.

Barn Owl – 1 again hunting around the Parting Carn Fields at dusk.

Pink-footed Goose  – 4 at Pelistry Bay.

Shoveler – 16 on the Great Pool Tresco.

Wigeon – 7 on the Great Pool Tresco.

Woodcock – 1 Lower Moors.

Hen Harrier – A ringtail flew over Higher Moors and then Holy Vale.

Merlin – A male over Porth Hellick.

Kingfisher – 1 flew across New Grimsby Beach, Tresco.

Great Spotted Woodpecker – 1 Holy Vale.

Cetti’s Warbler – 1 in bushes by the Great Pool, Tresco

Siberian Chiffchaff – 1  in the same area as the Dusky Warbler, 1 in the Standing Stones Field , 1 beside Shooters’ Pool and 3 in bushes by the Great Pool, Tresco.

Firecrest – 1 Salakee Lands Fields.

Fieldfare – 2 in holy Vale.

Redwing – 18 in the field below Porth Hellick House.

Black Redstart – 1 on New Grimsby Beach, Tresco.

Brambling – 2 on Tresco.

Redpoll – 1 at Pelistry Bay.

Tuesday (26/11)

Little Bunting – 1 on the track by the shed at the east end of Porth Hellick Beach.

Serin –  A “pr0bable” flew over the iris field at Higher Moors, towards Tremelethen.

Great White Egret – 1 on Tresco.

Little Egret – 1 on Tresco.

Fieldfare – 2 by King Edward’s Road Peninnis, 2 over Higher Moors and 1 over the airfield. overnight. This unfortunate individual was the first record on Scilly since 2016.

Redwing – 7 by King Edwards’s Road Peninnis.

Black Redstart – 1 in Old Town Churchyard.

Grey Wagtail – 1 by Nowhere.

Wednesday (27/11)

Little Auk – 1 picked up at Salakee Farm, was released at Old Town Bay (photo). On release it seemed to be swimming and diving OK but swam back onto the beach. It was taken back into care and was found to have  a wound under its wing , despite looking quite alert and taking food, sadly it died

Barn Owl – 1 again hunting around the Parting Carn Fields at dusk.

Hawfinch – 1 flew east over Porth Hellick House.

Spoonbill – 2 in flight over Tresco Channel.

Great White Egret – 1 Porth Hellick Bay.

Pink-footed Goose – 8 still in a field at Pelistry.

Yellow-browed Warbler – 1 in the Dump Clump and 1 Porth Hellick Loop. 

Siberian Chiffchaff – 2 in the Dump Clump and 2 Higher Moors.

Firecrest – 1 Salakee Lands Fields  and 1 in the Dump Clump.

Fieldfare – 5 in the Carn Friars Orchard Maze.

Redwing – 5 in the Carn Friars Orchard Maze.

Thursday (28/11)   

Shoveler – A female was on Shooters’ Pool.

Little Egret – 5 at Porthloo.

Woodcock – 1 was in a field on Porthloo Lane opposite the turning for Mount Flagon.

Black Redstart – 1 Porth Mellon.

Redwing – 22 on the school playing fields/

Friday (29/11)

Dusky Warbler – 1 still in bushes halfway along the path from the road to the Stephen Sussex hide.

Barn Owl – 1 again hunting around the Parting Carn Fields at dusk.

Shoveler – The female was still on Shooters’ Pool.

Saturday (30/11)

Dusky Warbler – 1 still in bushes halfway along the path from the road to the Stephen Sussex hide.

Pink-footed Goose – 8 still in fields at Pelistry.

Great White Egret – 1 Porth Hellick Bay & Pool.

Bar-tailed Godwit – 2 on Porthloo Beach.

Merlin – 1 flew over Spray View towards Normandy.

Yellow-browed Warbler – 1 on Porth Hellick Loop Trail.

Siberian Chiffchaff – 1 in the same area as the Dusky Warbler.

Firecrest – 1 in the back garden of Longstone Cottage.
