Marsh Harrier – 1 over Old Town and then Porth Hellick.
Merlin – A pair hunting in the garden of the staff accommodation behind Star Castle on the Garrison.
Great Spotted Woodpecker – 1 at Old Town flew over Trench Lane into the willows by Lane into the willows by the biobubble at end of Lower Moors
Yellow-browed Warbler – 9 on St. Mary’s.
Siberian Chiffchaff – 2 in the Newford/Trenoweth area.
Willow Warbler – 21 “Northern type” in the Newford/Trenoweth area.
Ring Ouzel – 1 on St. Agnes.
Black Redstart – 7 at Porthloo
Grey Wagtail – 1 at Porthloo
Brambling – 2 in the Newford/Trenoweth area and 5 near Shooters’ Pool.

Hume’s Yellow-browed Warbler – A “ probable” in the elms at Tremelethen Farmyard which flew towards the sallows on Porth Hellick Loop and could not be relocated.
Little Bunting – 1 by the pool on St. Agnes.
Red-breasted Flycatcher – 1 still by the ringing shed at Porth Hellick.
Hawfinch – 1 flew over Longstone and 1 flew over Porth Hellick.
Cattle Egret – 2 at Trewince.
Spoonbill – 1 circled Porth Cressa the flew over Hugh Town.
Great White Egret – 1 on Abbey Pool.
Little Egret – 1 on Porth Hellick Pool, Tresco.
Cory’s Shearwater – 1 off Morning Point, Garrison.
Whooper Swan – 1 on the Great Pool, Tresco.
Shoveler – 18 on Tresco.
Pintail– A drake on Tresco.
Pochard – 6 on Tresco.
Purple Sandpiper – 1 roosting on rocks in Porth Hellick Bay.

Redwing – 150 on the Garrison and 200+ around the school 7 Middle Town, St. Martin’s.
Black Redstart – 4 Little Porth , 2 below Tregarthen’s car park and 1 on St. Agnes.
Yellow-browed Warbler – 1 at Newford Duck Pond, 1 at Higher Moors pumping station, 2 at Rose Hill, 4 Porth Hellick Loop , 5 Trenoweth , 1 Sallyport and 5 on Tresco.
Siberian Chiffchaff – 1 at Higher Moors pumping station, 1 Porth Hellick Loop and 1 Newford duck Pond.
Willow Warbler – A late bird on Porth Hellick Loop.
Firecrest – 1 in a garden on Church road and 1 Trenoweth.
Brambling – 1 at Porth Hellick Ringing Station, 1 Porth Hellick Loop, 2 Higher Moors and 1 on St. Agnes.

Tuesday (12/11)
Barn Owl – 1 was seen to fly from Water Meadow Barn on Old Town Lane at 23:45. This is a scarce bird on Scilly, it has been heard several times over the last few weeks, but this is the first time it has been seen.
Cory’s Shearwater – 20 off Droppy Nose Point, both Bryher and 1 off Morning Point, Garrison.
Cattle Egret – 2 still at Trewince
Great White Egret – 1 Kittydown, 3 Tresco Channel and1 below Plumb Hill. Tresco.
Whooper Swan – 12 0n Bryher.
Bar-tailed godwit – 4 on in flight on Tresco
Swallow – At last 1 still on St. Mary’s.
Yellow-browed Warbler – 1 still on Sallyport, 4 Lower Moors, 2 Porth Hellick Loop and`1 at Veronica Farm, Bryher.
Siberian Chiffchaff – 5 on St. Mary’s.
Firecrest – 1 on St. Mary’s.
Mistle Thrush – 1 on Bryher.
Black Redstart – 7 below the St. Mary’s quay wall, including a leucistic bird (photo).

Little Bunting – The ringed bird was still the Sunnyside Farm Trail (photo).

Pink-footed Goose – 8 still in a field between Mount Todden and Pelistry.

Yellow-legged Gull – An adult was on St. Agnes.

Swallow – Still 3 late birds on St. Mary’s.

Mistle Thrush – 1 in a horse paddock south of Mount Todden Farm, 1 on the golf course, 1 between Carreg Dhu & Parting Carn and 1 on St. Agnes.
Ring Ouzel – 1 in a horse paddock south of Mount Todden Farm and 1 at Veronica Farm, Bryher.
Black Redstart – 1 at Csrn Morval, 5 behind the quay wall by Mermaid Car Park and 2 at Little Porth.
Grey Wagtail – 1 behind the quay wall by Mermaid Car Park and 2 at Little Porth.
Brambling – 1 on St. Agnes and 1 on Bryher.
Thursday (14/11)
Serin – 2 in the weedy field with chickens in at Parting Carn.
Cattle Egret – 2 in the cow field west of Longstone Cottage and these or another 2 at Trewince.
Great White Egret – 1 in Porth Hellick Bay.
Whimbrel – 1 on St. Mary’s.
Woodcock – 1 trapped and ringed at Porth Hellick Ringing Station.

Whopper Swan – 7 on Porth Hellick Pool , which were later seen flying over Lower Moors towards Porth Cressa.

Blyth’s Pipit –St, Agnes. 1 on
Dusky Warbler – 1 trapped and ringed at Porth Hellick Ringing Station (photo).
Richard’s Pipit – 1 dropped onto Porth Hellick Bank, then onto the beach before flying towards the airfield.
Purple Sandpiper –An incredible 130+ on a mini pelagic to the Bishop and Crim Rocks, 1 of the largest counts for many years.
Barn Owl – The bird that has been around for a couple of weeks was seen at 17:40, flying from the pines between Porth Hellick House and Carreg Dhu towards the Tremelethen chicken field,
Hen Harrier – 1 at Higher Town, St. Martin’s
Spoonbill – 3 on Green/ Stony Island.
Great White Egret – 1 Town Beach and 1 Porth Cressa.
Little Egret – 1 Porth Hellick Beach.

Woodcock – 5 seen in the evening by birders looking for the Barn Owl.
