COMMON NIGHTHAWK – 1 flew over Longstone Café towards Higher Moors. This is the first record since 2008 when was found as a road casualty on St. Mary’s. the last live record was 1 on Bryher in late October 1999.
Lesser Yellowlegs – 1 still on Bryher commuting between the beach at Stinking Porth and the pool. Later walking around peoples feet in puddles below Hillside Farm
Hoopoe – 1 on the sandy track north of Bryher Pool.
Spotted Crake – 1 seen briefly in Lower Moors.
Great White Egret – 1 Porthloo then flew to Porth Mellon, 1 Old Town Bay, 1 Porth Hellick, 1 on Tresco and 1 on Bryher.
Spoonbill – 1 on the Golf Course!

Common Nighthawk – What may have been yesterdays bird on St. Mary’s was flushed from Perpitch on St. Martin’s. Unfortunately, as yesterday’s bird it was only seen by the original observer and could not be relocated,
