Woodlark – 1 in a field opposite the path sign-posted to Porth Hellick Burial Chamber.
Barred Warbler – 1 by the Coastguards’ Cottages, St. Agnes.
Common Rosefinch – 1 at Porth Killier, St. Agnes.
Red-backed Shrike – 1 in the fields on the other side of the road from Old Town Bay and 1 at Porth Minnick.
Great White Egret – Still 4 around the islands,
Spotted Crake – Still 1 on the Great Pool, Tresco.
Cory’s Shearwater – c500 seen on a pelagic 15 km south of St. Mary’s, 7 east of Porth Wreck and 3 off Horse Point, St. Agnes.
Great Shearwater – 150 seen on a pelagic 15 km south of St. Mary’s.
Sooty Shearwater – 2 seen on a pelagic 15 km south of St. Mary’s.
Manx Shearwater – 10 seen on a pelagic 15 km south of St. Mary’s.
European Storm-petrel – 15 seen on a pelagic 15 km south of St. Mary’s.
Great Skua – 1 seen on a pelagic 15 km south of St. Mary’s.
Green Sandpiper – 1 flew over Longstone.
Bar-tailed Godwit – 2 on Porthloo Beach.
Whimbrel – 2 south of Porth Wreck
Osprey – 1 still around the islands.
Merlin – 1 over Old Town.
Whooper Swan – Still 1, seen several times across the islands
Pale-bellied Brent Goose – 9 0n Bryher Pool, 1 in Porth Cressa.
Little Grebe – 2 on the Great Pool, Tresco.
Kingfisher – 1 flew past the Turk’s Head pub, St. Agnes.
Great Spotted Woodpecker – 1 in Holy Vale.
Yellow-browed Warbler – 1 in the Peninnis Allotments, 1 by Shooters’ Pool, Lower Moor, 1 Higher Moors and 1 Trenoweth.
Firecrest – 7 on St. Mary’s and 1 on St. Martin’s.
Common Whitethroat – 1 at Lower Town, St. Martin’s.
Lesser Whitethroat – 1 Rocky Hill.
Acredula Willow Warbler – A “Northern” type was in the Dump Clump.
Ring Ouzel – 1 on the Garrison, 1 near the millstone 0n King Edward’s Road, Peninnis and 1 on Pelistry Farm.
Spotted Flycatcher – 4 on St. Mary’s, 3 on St. Agnes and 1 on St .Martin’s.
Pied Flycatcher – 1 Trenoweth and 1 by the Seven Stones Inn, St. Martin’s.
Whinchat – 5 on St. Mary’s.
Common Redstart – on St. Mary’s.
Yellow Wagtail – 1 in the pig field on King Edward’s Road, Peninnis.
Grey Wagtail – 5 on St. Mary’s.
Short-beaked Common Dolphin – 120 seen on a pelagic 15 km south of St. Mary’s.

Western Bonelli’s Warbler – 1 still in sallows at the southeast end of the Great Pool.
Melodious Warbler – A probable by the 5 Islands Academy School gate,
Short-toed Lark – 1 still in a field on the west side of King Edward’s Road Peninnis (photo).
Common Rosefinch – 1in a field on the edge of Castella, St. Agnes.
Bluethroat – 1 at Drop Nose Porth, Gugh.
Lapland Bunting – 1 flew over Peninnis Lighthouse.
Red-backed Shrike – 1 still in the fields on the other side of the road from Old Town Bay (photo) and 1 still at Porth Minnick.
Wryneck – 1 by the Peninnis Lighthouse, and 1 Grinlinton Farmhouse, St. Agnes.
Cory’s Shearwater – 3 off Peninnis and 7 off the north coast of St. Martin’s.
Yellow-legged Gull – 1 at Porth Coose, St. Agnes.
Long-tailed Skua – A probable off Bar Point.
Osprey – From the times of sightings it would seem there are still 2 on the islands.
Whooper Swan – 1 still on Treco and also seen on Bryher Pool.
Pa1e-bellied Brent Goose – 9 still on Bryher Pool and 1 in Great Bay, St. Martin’s.
Green Sandpiper – 1 was flushed from St, Agnes Pool.
Bar-tailed Godwit – 2 on Porthloo Beach and 4 Porth Coose, St. Agnes.
Whimbrel – 1 Porth Hellick Bay.
Little Egret – 1 Porth Hellick Bay.
Merlin – A juvenile at Chapel Down.
Kingfisher – 1 Porth Hellick Bay and 1 on Lower Moors Pool.
Skylark – 2 on Chapel Down.
Yellow-browed Warbler – 6 on St. Mary’s and 2 on St. Agnes.
Firecrest – 7 on St. Mary’s, 1 Grinlinton Farmhouse, St. Agnes 1 near Higher Town Quay, St. Martin’s and 1 at Little Arthur Farm, St. Martin’s.
Lesser Whitethroat – 1 still at Rocky Hill, 1 in a field along King Edward’s Road, Peninnis and 1 near St. Martin’s Bakery.
Spotted Flycatcher – 9 on St. Mary’s,
Pied Flycatcher – 4 on St. Mary’s, 1 on Bryher and 1 on St. Martin’s.
Whinchat – 1 in the Standing Stones Field, Lower Moors.
Black Redstart –1 Porth Cressa Rocks and 1 near Tresco School.
Common Redstart – 1 along the southern edge of Tresco Heliport.
Grey Wagtail – 1 in the pig field on King Edward’s Road, Peninnis.
Yellow Wagtail – 1 in the pig field on King Edward’s Road, Peninnis.

Western Bonelli’s Warbler –1 still at the southeast end of the Great Pool, Tresco.
Richard’s Pipit – 1 in a field on the west side of King Edward’s Road Peninnis, before flying off west.
Short-toed Lark – 1 still in a field on the west side of King Edward’s Road Peninnis.
Hoopoe – 1 on Bryher.
Common Rosefinch – 1 still in the big field, Castella, St. Agnes.
Red-breasted Flycatcher –1 was photographed on the Bishop Rock.
Red-backed Shrike – 1 still in the fields on the other side of the road from Old Town Bay and 1 still at Porth Minnick.
Great White Egret – Still at least 3 on the islands.
Spoonbill –1 between Carn Near, Tresco and Pendrathen and then landed on Green Island, Samson.
Quail – 1 flushed on Wingletang, St. Agnes.
Whooper Swan – 1 on Bryher Pool was also seen flying to Tresco.
Pale-bellied Brent Goose – 9 on Bryher Pool.
Little Grebe – 2 on the Great Pool, Tresco.
Leach’s Storm Petrel– 1 seen in Scilly waters from the Scillonian III on the morning crossing from Penzance to St. Mary’s. This is a scarce bird in Scilly waters.
Cory’s Shearwater – 355 seen in Scilly waters from the Scillonian III on the morning crossing from Penzance to St. Mary’s.
Great Shearwater – 65 seen in Scilly waters from the Scillonian III on the morning crossing from Penzance to St. Mary’s.
Manx Shearwater – 6 seen in Scilly waters from the Scillonian III on the morning crossing from Penzance to St. Mary’s.
Great Skua – 1 seen in Scilly waters from the Scillonian III on the morning crossing from Penzance to St. Mary’s.
Grey Phalarope – 1 seen in Scilly waters from the Scillonian III on the morning crossing from Penzance to St. Mary’s.
Mediterranean Gull – 40 in Tresco Channel.
Dotterel – 3 on Shipman Head Down, Bryher.
Ruff – 2 flew over the Garrison in the evening.
Bar-tailed Godwit – 2 still on Porthloo Beach.
Marsh Harrier – 1 flew high over Morning Point, Garrison and was later seen 0ver Annet.
Osprey – Still 2 around the islands.
Kingfisher – 1 Porth Hellick and 1 in New Grimsby Harbour, Tresco,
Wryneck – 2 on St. Mary’s , 2 on St. Agnes and 2 on St. Martin’s.
Raven – 1 on St. Martin’s.
Skylark – 4 on Peninnis.
Yellow-browed Warbler – 5 on St. Mary’s, 2 on St. Martin’s, 1 on Tresco and 1 on Bryher.
Firecrest – 4 on St. Mary’s and 3 on St. Martin’s.
Ring Ouzel – 1 west of Newman’s Pottery on the Garrison.
Redwing – the first of the autumn were about 20 on St. Mary’s and 6 on St. Martin’s.
Common Whitethroat – 1 on the Tremelethen Trail.
Spotted Flycatcher – 5 on St. Mary’s, 2 Tresco , 1 on St. Agnes and 1 on St. Martin’s.
Pied Flycatcher – 1 at Trenoweth and 1 in Content Lane.
Whinchat – 3 at Salakee, 2 Rushy Bay, Bryher and 1 on Castella Down, St. Agnes.
Black Redstart –1 Little Porth.
Common Redstart – 1 on the North end of the Golf Course.
Grey Wagtail – 1 Hugh Town.
