Richard’s Pipit – 1 flew over Parting Carn towards Rocky Hill
Red-backed Shrike – 1 still in the Standing Stones Field and 1 still at Porth Minnick.
Great White Egret – 1 Middle Town Beach, St. Martin’s, 2 Tresco Channel and these or another 2 on Tresco.
Cattle Egret – 1 on Simpson’s Field, Tresco.

Cory’s Shearwater – 85 seen in Scilly waters from the Scillonian III on the morning crossing from Penzance to St. Mary’s and 30 on the afternoon return trip.
Great Shearwater – 10 seen in Scilly waters from the Scillonian III on the morning crossing from Penzance to St. Mary’s and 1 on the afternoon return trip.
Sooty Shearwater – 10 seen in Scilly waters from the Scillonian III on the morning crossing from Penzance to St. Mary’s and 1 on the afternoon return trip.
Manx Shearwater – 1 seen in Scilly waters from the Scillonian III on the morning crossing from Penzance to St. Mary’s.
European Storm-petrel – 5 seen in Scilly waters from the Scillonian III on the morning crossing from Penzance to St. Mary’s and 15 on the afternoon return trip.

Merlin –1 flew over Peninnis.
Whooper Swan – 1 flying from Bryher towards Tresco, where it landed on the Great Pool and then returned to Bryher.
Pale-bellied Brent Goose – 9 on Bryher Pool.
Wigeon – 1 on Porth Hellick Pool.
Little Grebe – 2 on the Great Pool, Tresco.
Great Northern Diver – 1 between Watermill and the Eastern Isles.
Mediterranean Gull – 6 in Porth Cressa.
Kingfisher – 1 Old Town Bay.
Great Spotted Woodpecker – 1 in the Garrison pines.
Wryneck – 1 still on the west side of Peninnis.
Raven – 1 Samson Hill, Bryher.
Skylark – 6 on Shipman Head Down, Bryher.

Firecrest – 1 behind the gun club on the Garrison, 3 Lomgstone,1 Carreg Dhu, 1 in sallows opposite Airport Lane, 1 along the footpath from the airport to Ennor Close, Old Town, 1 Shooters’ Pool, 1 Watermill Lane, 1 Porth Hellick Loop and 1 southeast of St. Martin’
Common Whitethroat – 1 in a field between Porth Hellick Boardwalk and Salakee Farm and 1 borough Farm, St. Mary’s.
Redwing – 2 Watermill and 3 in the Middle Town pines, St. Martin’s.
Ring Ouzel – 1 in Newman’s Pottery Garden on the Garrison and 2 on Shipman Head Down, Bryher.
Spotted Flycatcher – 1 Watermill Lane and 1 Pool Road, Tresco.
Pied Flycatcher – 1 at Rocky Hill, 1 Watermill Lane and 1 Old Town Churchyard.
Whinchat – 2 north of Porth Hellick House, 2 Carn Friars/Port Hellick Down area, 2 in a field between Porth Hellick Boardwalk and Salakee Farm, 2 in the water meadow opposite Bordeaux Pottery, 2 airport Terminal and 1 behind the beach at Popplestone, Bryher.
Black Redstart – 1 at Morning Point, Garrison, 1 in the same field as the Short-toed Lark and 1 on Town Besch and 1 on the west side of Peninnis.
Common Redstart – 1 in a field between Porth Hellick Boardwalk and Salakee Farm.
Tree Pipit – 1 in Popplestone Fields, Bryher.
Yellow Wagtail – 1 flew over the Great Pool, Tresco.
Grey Wagtail – 1 Porth Hellick, 1 in the ploughed field next to the pig field on King Edward’s Road, Peninnis and 1 at Churchtown Farm, St. Martin’s.

Cory’s Shearwater – 308 seen on a 4 hour (07:10-11:10) seawatch from Peninnis Head.
Great Shearwater – 32 seen on the seawatch from Peninnis Head. 1 found injured on Old Town Beach, dies later.
Sooty Shearwater – 6 seen on the seawatch from Peninnis Head and 2 flew east past Giant’s Castle at 13:15.
Balearic Shearwater – 1 seen on the seawatch from Peninnis Head.
Manx Shearwater – 28 seen on the seawatch from Peninnis Head.
Great Skua – 1 seen on the seawatch from Peninnis Head.
Arctic Skua – 1 seen on the seawatch from Peninnis Head.

Firecrest – 3 in Carreg Dhu Garden, 1 near Tremelethen Farm and 1 Newford Duck Pond.
Yellow-browed Warbler – 1 in the Standing Stones Field, 1 Abbey Drive, Tresco and 1 Borough Farm, Tresco.
Spotted Flycatcher – 1 in the Dead Pine Walk, Garrison, 1 Holy Vale. 1 Newford Duck Pond, 1 Sandy Lane, 1 in the Dump Clump.
Pied flycatcher – 1 Holy Vale, 1 Old Town Churchyard, 1 between Newford & Watermill and 1 Content Lane, 1 on the path above Holy Vale, 1 Sandy Lane, 1 in the Dead Pine Walk on the Garrison.
Black Redstart – 1 on Porthloo, 1 west of Peninnis Light House, 1 was in the field next to the Standing Stones Field and 1 was in Pilot’s Retreat, Hugh Town.
Tree Pipit – 1 on wires over the Garrison football pitch.
Yellow Wagtail – 1 on Treco Cricket Pitch with White & Pied Wagtails.
Grey Wagtail – 1 Higher Moors.

Tawny Pipit – 1 near the wind sock on the airfield (photo)

Short-toed Lark – 1 still in the ploughed field along King Edward’s Road, Peninnis.
Yellowhammer – 1 was heard in the Dead Pine Walk on the Garrison. This a real Scilly rarity.
Barred Warbler – 1 still at the Coastguards entrance to Castella down
Snow Bunting – 1 flew over Shipman Head Down, Bryher.
Little Tern – A juvenile was in Porth Cressa (photo) flew off to Town Bay and then was relocated in Old Town Bay. This is a scarce bird on Scilly.
Sabine’s Gull – 2 flew past Giant’s Castle.
Great White Egret –Still 3 or 4 around the islands.
Cattle Egret – 4 in the Longstone/Sandy Lane fields and 1 on St, Agnes.
Spoonbill – 1 on Still on Green Island.
Red-breasted Flycatcher – 1 in the Fruitcage, St. Agnes, and 1 in the elms on the track to the Seven Stones Inn, St. Martin’s.
Red-backed Shrike – 1 still in the Standing Stones Field and 1 still at Porth Minick.
Long-tailed Tit – 1 at the riding Stables at Pelistry. This is a scarce bird on Scilly.
Yellow-browed Warbler – 1 Harry’s Walls, 1 Higher Moors, ! Content Lane, 4 on Tresco, 2 on Bryher and 1 in the elms on the Track to the Seven Stones Inn, St. Martin’s.
Dotterel – 3 on Shipman Head Down, Bryher were flushed by a Kestrel and flew to Castle Down, Tresco.
Golden Plover – 2 Rushy Bay Green, Bryher.
Lapwing – 1 flew over Carn Vean and 1 Back Lane Tresco.
Jack Snipe – 1 on Lower Moors Pool.
Ruff – 1 flew south over the airfield.
Bar-tailed Godwit – 3 at Porthloo and 1 Middle Town Beach, St. Martin’s.
Whimbrel – 1 Watermill Cove and 1 Pernagie, St. Martin’s.

Wryneck – 1 on a wall at the corner of the fields on the west side of Peninnis.
Skylark – 21 in the Content Farm area, 3 on the airfield and 14 on Chapel Down, St. Martin’s.
Common whitethroat – 1 in the field behind the New Inn, Tresco.
Acredula Willow Warbler – 1 northern type on Content Lane.
Firecrest –3 Longstone Bungalow, 3 on Sandy Lane, 1 Carn Gwaval, 1 Porth Minnick, 1 Harry’s Walls, 1 at the Rosehill end of Lower Moors and 2 in the elms on the rack to the Seven Stones Inn, St. Martin’s.
Redwing – 1 in the Dead Pine Walk, Garrison and 1 Back Lane Tresco.
Spotted Flycatcher – 4 in the Dead Pine Walk on the Garison, 1 Peninnis allotments, 1 Carn Gwaval, 2 in the gardens by the hospital,2 in pines at the north end of Porthloo Lane, 2 Sandy Lane, 1 Harry’s Walls, 1 Content Lane, 1 Pool Road, Tresco and 2 on St. Martin’s.
Pied Flycatcher – 1 in a field along King Edward’s Road, Peninnis, 1 Harry’s Walls, 1 at Salakee Farm, 1 on the Carn Friar’s Road near the farm shop, 1 Porth Hellick Down and 2 in the elms on the track to the Seven Stones Inn, St. Martin’s.
Whinchat – 5 along the footpath from the airport terminal to Old Town, 3 Content Lane, 1 Porth Hellick Down, 2 Bryher and 2 Back Lane Tresco.
Black Redstart – 1 on the west side of Peninnis, 1 Porthloo, 1 by Peninnis Lighthouse, 1 flew over the Community Centre, Tresco and 2 on Bryher.
Common Redstart – 2 Back Lane, Tresco.
Tree Pipit – 1 near the Higher Moors Pumping Station and 1 Hillside Farm, Bryher.
Grey Wagtail – 2 in the same field as the Short-toed Lark and 1 on St. Martin’s Cricket Pitch.
