Cory’s Shearwater – 3 off the airport turning circle and 1 seen in Scilly waters from Scillonian !!! on the journey from Penzance to St. Mary’s and 3 on the return trip.
Great Shearwater – 103 seen om Scilly waters from Scillonian !!! on the return journey from St. Mary’s to Penzance.
Balearic Shearwater – 2 seen in Scilly waters from Scillonian !!! on the journey from Penzance to St. Mary’s.
Sabine’s Gull – 1 seen in Scilly waters from Scillonian !!! on the journey from Penzance to St. Mary’s.

South Polar Skua – `1 on an evening pelagic 8 km southeast of St. Mary’s (photo). This the third record this year. There have been 6 birds seen from the MV Sapphire in the last 2 years, which is well over 50% of all the British records,
