American Buff-bellied Pipit – There was an unconfirmed report of 1 on Toll’s Island, Pelistry.
American Golden Plover – 1 commuting between Castle Down, Tresco and Shipman Head Down, Bryher.
Pectoral Sandpiper – 1 on the Great Pool, Tresco.
Little Bunting – 1 seen with a Jack Snipe from the Seaward Hide at Porth Hellick (photo) and 1 in the fields adjacent to St. Martin’s Cricket Pitch.
Common Rosefinch – 1 in a field by Middle Town Barn, St. Martin’s
Red-necked Grebe – 1 flew past Watermill Cove.
Rose-coloured Starling – The juvenile bird was on the east side of Samson Hill, Bryher.
Dotterel – 2 commuting between Castle Down, Tresco & Shipman Head Down, Bryher, and 1 flew over the Garrison towards the golf course.
Spotted Redshank – 1 still on the Great Pool.
Quail – 1 flushed on Higher Moors from the path at the Holy Vale end.
Jack Snipe – 2 on Porth Hellick Pool, 1 Lower Moors Pool and 1 flew in of the sea at Shipman Head down, Bryher.
Snow Bunting – 1 at General Boscowan’s Battery, Garrison, 1 Kettle Point, Tresco and 1 still at Browarth, St. Agnes.
Yellow-browed Warbler – 1 Lower Moors, 1 Rosehill Memorial Gardens, 1 Standing Stones Field, 1 near Penninis Allotments, 1 calling near St. Agnes Lighthouse, 1 Middle Down, Tresco and 1 still at Popplestone Bay, Bryher.
Pale-bellied Brent Goose – 1 at southern end of Pentle Beach, Tresco, 1 on Bryher Pool and toff South Beach, Tresco.
Pink-footed Goose – 2 on the Great Pool, Tresco and Bryher Pool.
Little Egret – 5 in Tresco Channel.
Shoveler – 2 on the Great Pool, Tresco.
Common Sandpiper – 1 Bar Point and 1 Porth Coose, St. Agnes.
Bar-tailed Godwit – 1 Porthloo and 12 flew past Darrity’s Hole.
Whimbrel – 2 Toll’s Island, and 8 Dry Ledge.
Yellow-legged Gull – 1 on St. Agnes.
Short-eared Owl – 1 flew over Peninnis Head, heading inland.
Merlin – 1 flew over Peninnis and 1 on Bryher.
Kingfisher – 1 Old Town Bay and 1 White Island, St. Martin’s.
Skylark – 1 over Kittydown, 3 Bryher, 1 over Middle Town Pines, St. Martin’s and 2 Castle Down, Tresco.
Cetti’s Warbler – 1 calling in Lower Moors.
Garden Warbler – 1 Old Grimsby, Tresco and 2 on St. Agnes.
Lesser Whitethroat – 1 Higher Moors, 1 in Middle Town Pines, St. Martin’s, 1 on St.Agnes and 1 Bryher.
Wood Warbler – 1 at the Carn Vean end of Kittydown.
Whinchat – 2 between Watermill & Newford Duck Pond, 2 Parting Carn Farm,1 Penninis, 2 Middle Town, St. Martin’s and 1 on St.Agnes..
Redstart – 1 Peninnis and 1 on St. Agnes.
Black Redstart – 2 below Peninnis Lighthouse, 1 on the roof of the Health Centre, 2 Pungies Lane, 2 Toll’s Porth,1 by the Old Town Inn, 2 by the airport terminal building, 2 at New Grimsby Boatyard, Tresco, 2 in Tresco Churchyard and 1 in the bulb field behind St. Martin’s Bakery.
Spotted Flycatcher – 1 in the pines between Porth Hellick and the eastern runway , 4 on Bryher and 1 behind the Seven Stones Inn, St. Martin’s.
Pied Flycatcher – 1 Old Town Lane, 1 in the Dump Clump, 1 behind the Garrison Campsite and 1 behind the Seven Stones Inn, St. Martin’s.
Tree Pipit – 1 flew over the coastal path on Salakee Down, 1 Sunnyside Farm Trail and 1 in fields adjacent to St. Martin’s Cricket Pitch.
Grey Wagtail – 1 Carn Friars and 1 Peninnis.
Yellow Wagtail – 2 on St. Agnes.
Lesser Redpoll – 1 on St. Agnes.
Siskin – 5 Bryher and 1 on St. Agnes.
