Coal Tit – 1 on Pool Road, Tresco. This is a scarce bird on Scilly (photo)

Hoopoe – 1 by Buzza Tower flew towards gardens on Church Road

Blue-headed Wagtail – 1 still in the cow field at Higher Moors

Grasshopper Warbler – 1 reeling between Porth Hellick House and the Higher Moors cow field, 1 Tresco

Brent Goose – 1 flying from St. Martin’s towards Tresco

Great Northern Diver – 1 in the Roads (photo)

Grey Plover – 1 Bryher (photo)

Whimbrel – 1 Little Bay, St. Martin’s

Purple Sandpiper – 11 Little Bay, St. Martin’s 

Iceland Gull – 1 Porth Mellon

Merlin – 1 Kittydown

Jackdaw – 1 Tresco

Raven – 2 St. Martin’s, 1 over Hugh Town

Cetti’s Warbler – 1 calling near the Skate Park

Whitethroat – 1 Bryher

Yellow Wagtail – 1 still in the cow field at Higher Moors

Tree Pipit – 6 Perpitch, St. Martin’s

Siskin – 1 on a feeder in a garden on High Lanes

Tuesday (13/04)

Bee-eater – 1 at Porthloo flew towards the golf course

Cattle Egret – 4 north of Pool Road, Tresco

Hoopoe – 1 by the Telegraph Tower

Blue-headed Wagtail – 1 at Porth Hellick

Brent Goose – A Pale-bellied bird was off Bar Point

Shoveler –  A pair on the Great Pool Tresco, 2 drakes and a female on Porth Hellick Pool

Pochard –  3 on the Abbey Pool and 1 on the Great Pool, Tresco

Tufted Duck – 1 Abbey Pool, Tresco  

Cuckoo – 1 Kittydown, 1 St. Martin’s

Great Northern Diver – 1 off Pelistry  looking towards St. Martin’s

Marsh Harrier – 1 over Porth Hellick Pool was a female (photo), so a different bird to the male last seen on Saturday (10/04)

Whimbrel – 1 flew over Hugh Town. 1 Porthloo

Purple Sandpiper – 15 Great Bay, St. Martin’s

Common Sandpiper – 3 on Simpson’s Field, Great Pool, Tresco

Green Sandpiper – 1 at the west end of the Great Pool, Tresco

Jack Snipe – 1 Porth Hellick 

Iceland Gull – 2 Great Bay, St. Martin’s, probably the same 2 seen later at Porthloo

Puffin – 30+ Annet and 6 Mincarlo

Cetti’s Warbler – 2 in the Standing Stones Field at Lower Moors (photo) and another 2 at Porth Hellick

Grasshopper Warbler – 1 Higher Moors

Whitethroat – 1 Porth Hellick

Ring Ouzel – A male and female at Carn Morval, 1 briefly in a garden in High Lanes, 1 Pungies Lane. 4 0n St. Martin’s, including a singing male

Redwing – 1 on the Airfield

Black Redstart – 2 at the weather station, airport buildings

Wheatear – 40 on the Airfield

Yellow Wagtail – 2 at Porth Hellick

White Wagtail – 3 at Porth Hellick, 3 Porthloo
