Black and White Warbler – 1 was found between the two hides on Pool Road, Tresco (photo)

Swainson’s Thrush –  Yesterday’s bird showed much better today, again it was in the Standing Stones Field and the field opposite Old Town Bay

Red-eyed Vireo  – 1 still in the pines behind Middle Town, St. Martin’s

Little Bunting  – 1 seen again in a field near Longstone Lodge 

Serin – 1 flew over Longstone calling

Brent Goose  – 4 Pale-bellied birds in Tresco Channel

Greylag Goose  – 1 flew high over Longstone heading towards Hugh Town, 1 flew over St. Martin’s, 2 flew over the Airport

Pink-footed Goose – 6 flew from their roost on Porth Hellick Pool to feed in fields in the Longstone area, 1 flew onto Porth Hellick Pool

Whooper Swan – 2 flew south along Tresco Channel

Shoveler – 1 Great Pool

Wigeon – 2 Porth Hellick Pool

Sparrowhawk – 1 over Porth Hellick

Spotted Crake – 1 still on the Great Pool, Tresco, opposite the David Hunt Hide

American Golden Plover – 1 still on Castle Down, Tresco

Grey Plover – 1 flew over Middle Town, St. Martin’s

Bar-tailed Godwit – 1 Porthloo

Whimbrel – 1 Taylor’s Island, Porthloo

Pectoral Sandpiper – 1 Porth Hellick Pool 

Jack Snipe – 1 Porth Hellick Pool

Iceland Gull – 1 just north of St. Agnes, it or another flew past Bar Point

Kingfisher – 1 Old Town Bay

Wryneck – 1 Deep Point Quarry, 1 St. Martin’s, 1 Tresco

Great Spotted Woodpecker – A female on St. Mary’s and another on Tresco

Merlin – 1 over Peninnis

Raven – 1 over Higher Moors

Cetti’s Warbler – 2 Porth Hellick, 1 Lower Moors 

Yellow-browed Warbler – 1 Carn Gwaval, 1 Dead Pine Walk, the Garrison,1 at Nowhere, 2 Higher Moors, 2 Shooters’ Pool, Lower Moors, 1 Deep Point, 1 in the Chaplaincy Garden, Hugh Town, 1 Carn Vean, 1 Newford Duck Pond, 1 Rowesfield Crossroads, Tresco, 2 near the David Hunt Hide, Pool Road, Tresco  1 Seven Stones, St. Martin’s

Garden Warbler – 1 by the Cadet Hut on the Garrison

Lesser Whitethroat – The Blythi type was still in the sycamores by the Garrison Arch

Firecrest – 2 Seven Stones, St. Martin’s

Spotted Flycatcher – 1 Lunnon, 1 Carn Friars, 1 Holy Vale

Nightingale – 1 still at the Dump

Pied Flycatcher – 1 Holy Vale, 1 Carn Friars, 1 Newford Duck Pond, 1 Jac-a-ba

Black Redstart – 1 Porthloo

Redstart – 1 Peninnis House

Whinchat – 4 in the Higher Moors/ Porth Hellick area 

Water Pipit – 1 with Meadow Pipits between Parting Carn and Longstone

Common Rosefinch – 1 Little Arthur Farm, Tresco

Greenland Redpoll – A “probable” at Little Arthur Farm, St. Martin’

Crossbill – 6 flew south over Longstone, 1 over Salakee

Reed Bunting – 1in the bracken near Camel Rock Porth Hellick

Lapland  Bunting – 1 Castle Down, Tresco

Snow Bunting – 1 in the pig field on King Edwards Road, Peninnis, 1 west of the Heliport, Tresco
