Thursday
The Spotted Sandpiper was still at Porth Hellick on rocks at the mouth of the bay and the Curlew Sandpiper was still on Porthloo Beach.
A Melodious Warbler was photographed near Cadet Hut on the Garrison, a Whinchat was on the airport and a Black Kite was over St. Mary’s.
A Redpoll was in the Garrison Pines, a Spotted Flycatcher & 2 Pied Flycatcher were at Longstone, there were 2 more Pied Flycatcher in the Garrison Pines, 1 at Lower Moors and 1 at Rosehill.
The evening sharking/pelagic trip 6 miles south of St. Mary’s produced 7 Great Shearwater, 40 European Storm-petrel and 2 Blue Shark.
Friday
The Spotted Sandpiper was still at Porth Hellick on the Pool, the Curlew Sandpiper was still on Porthloo Beach. a Dunlin, 2 Common Sandpiper, 4 White Wagtail and a Wheatear were at Little Porth.
3 Pied Flycatcher were in the Garrison Pines, 1 was at Trenoweth, 1 was in Lower Moors and 3 were on St. Agnes. A Yellow Wagtail, was on the airfield, a Spotted Flycatcher was in Lower Moors and a Nightingale in an area with no general access.
Saturday
The Spotted Sandpiper was still at Porth Hellick on the Pool and in the bay, the Curlew Sandpiper was still on Porthloo Beach and 2 were on the Great Pool, Tresco. A Swift was over Porth Hellick Pool, a Pied Flycatcher & a Spotted Flycatcher was at Rosehill and another Spotted Flycatcher was by the Garrison Tennis Court.
On Bryher there were 10 Pied Flycatcher, a Spotted Flycatcher and a Wryneck.
