On Tresco, a Purple Heron, a drake Pintail, a female Tufted Duck & 3 Pochard were on the Great Pool and 3 Great Northern Diver were near Hedge Rock.
On St. Martin’s, what was almost certainly a Chough flew over Middle Town been mobbed by Crows and an Arctic Skua was north of Menawethan, Eastern Isles.
A Red Kite was still touring St. Mary’s, a Hobby & a Cuckoo were on the airfield and a Jackdaw was on the Garrison. A Common Whitethroat was at Pelistry, the Cetti’s Warbler was still near the Dump Clump, a female type Golden Oriole was in the ringing lanes at Porth Hellick and a male was in Lower Moors.

Just 2 reports: the last of the Red Kite was seen over Helvear, it then picked up a thermal and headed north high over the Eastern Isles.

A Solitary Sandpiper was found on Porth Hellick Pool, this is 16th record for Scilly, but the first Spring record.
A Grey Plover was on Porthloo Beach, a Hobby was on Porth Hellick Down & over Holy Vale and a Cuckoo was on St. Martin’s.
