Sunday

Yellow-legged Gull  was on the Garrison football field,  a Merlin was at Porth Cressa and a Hobby was over Trenoweth. The 3 Turtle Dove were at the Parting Carn/Longstone junction, 3 flew from Salakee to the Porth Hellick Down pine shelter belt and 1 was at the entrance to Launceston Close, Old Town.

The long-staying ringtail Hen Harrier  was seen on the ground at Carron Farm, St. Martin’s, a Garden Warbler was at Longstone, a Golden Oriole was singing behind Bah Noy Cottage, Holy Vale and another was on the Garrison.

Monday

2 or 3 Red Kite ( stragglers from the amazing influx into West Cornwall?) were seen touring St. Mary’s, a Common Buzzard flew over Hugh Town, a Hobby was seen over Normandy, Porth Hellick & Lower Moors and the 3 Turtle Dove were at the Parting Carn/Longstone junction.

Tuesday

The ringtail Hen Harrier, a Red Kite and a Golden Oriole were on St. Martin’s.

2 or 3 Red kite were still on St. Mary’s, a Hobby flew over the Garrison, a Lesser Whitethroat was singing near Watermill House and a Siskin flew over Parson’s Field, Hugh Town.
