Tuesday 19th – A Whooper Swan was on Bryher Pool, 120 Sanderling & 11 Ringed Plover were on Porthloo Beach, one of the Ringed Plover had colour rings on, which showed it to be part of a German ringing project. A Common Gull & a Yellow-legged Gull were at Morning Point on the Garrison and single Firecrest were at Star Castle, Garrison and NE of Porth Hellick.
Wednesday 20th – To the relief of an intrepid visiting birder the Hermit Thrush was relocated in the original field at Kittydown and just to prove that November is the new October on Scilly, a female Surf Scoter was found close inshore at Porthloo.
2 Lapwing, the 2 Chough and a Snow Bunting were on the Golf Course. A Mediterranean Gull & 2 Black Redstart were at Porthloo and 2 Whimbrel & another Black Redstart were at Bar Point.
