Thursdays Birds were: Two juv Peregrines flew over Porth Helick and a Swift was over Trenoweth. A White Wagtail was at Porthloo. Four Sooty Shearwaters were with Manx Shearwaters off Peninnis Head. The evening pelagic produced an impressive 10 Wilson’s Petrels and an adult Sabine’s Gull. A Bullfinch was reported belatedly from Sandy Lane
Fridays Birds were: The only birds reported were from the evening pelagic where 4 Wilson’s Petrels were amongst the 400 European Storm Petrels.
Saturdays Birds were: A Whimbrel flew east over the Garrison and the 2 Black Swans were at Porthloo. 3 Wilson’s Petrels, 25 European Storm Petrels , 3 Sooty Shearwaters and 6 Great Skuas were seen on the evening pelagic.
Sundays Birds were: Ten Knot were on the Eastern Isles. 2 Wheatears were at Giant’s Castle and a single Green Sandpiper was at Porth Hellick. 2 Wilson’s Petrels, 50 European Storm Petrels, 2 Great Shearwaters, juv Long-tailed Skua, 2 Sooty Shearwaters and 400 Manx Shearwaters were seen on the evening pelagic. A leucistic Swallow was over the pines at Porth hellick3 Wheateras were at Deep Point and a sewatch from there produced up to 300 Manx Shearwaters and 100+ Gannets. 2 Minke Whales were also seen. An adult Med Gull was at Porthloo.
Mondays birds were: 2 Ruff and a Common Sandpiper at Porth hellick and a Swift was over Innisidgen with House Martins.
Tuesdays Birds were: A Bee-eater was heard over Sharks Pit mid-afternoon. The two Riff were joined by a Black-tailed Godwit at Porth Hellick. 2 Wilson’s and 60 Storm Petrels were seen from the evening pelagic along with a Grey Phalarope, Sooty Shearwater and a Great Skua.
