Sunday’s birds were:
Bryher – A Rose-coloured Starling was still at Stinking Porth.
St. Mary’s – The Red Kite was over the island. 2 Common Swifts were over Hugh Town, a Garden Warbler was singing at Higher Moors and a late/early? Wheatear was at Giant’s Castle.
Tresco – The Red Kite and a Hobby were seen over the island.
Monday’s birds were:
The Red Kite was over again seen over St. Mary’s and Tresco.
Annet – 16+ Common Terns and 130+ Manx Shearwaters were offshore.
Tuesday’s birds were:
The Red Kite was on Tresco and a Great Northern Diver was south east of Samson.
Monday’s birds were:
St. Mary’s – A juvenile Raven was at Deep Point.
St. Martin’s – A Wheatear.
At sea – The evening short-range pelagic trip produced the first Wilson’s Storm-petrel of the summer. Also seen were 6 European Storm-petrels and 2 Ocean Sunfish
