St Mary’s – “The Yanks are coming!”, there were 3 species of American wader on the island – The Semi-palmated Sandpiper was still on Porth Hellick Pool, a Pectoral Sandpiper was on Porth Hellick Beach and an American Golden Plover was found on the airfield in the evening. A Whimbrel was at Giant’s Castle.
St. Agnes – 3 Whimbrels and a Richard’s Pipit were on the island. 3 Lapland Buntings were at Horse Point and 7 Grey Phalaropes, a European Storm-petrel, a Balearic & 7 Sooty Shearwaters flew past there.
Tresco – A Ruff.
