Saturday’s birds were:
St. Mary’s – The female Little Bittern was still in Lower Moors and a Honey Buzzard flew over Parting Carn at 07:50.
Tresco – A Great Northern Diver, 3 Common Pochards, 5 Whimbrels and Swifts.
Sunday’s birds were:
St. Mary’s – The female Little Bittern was still in Lower Moors, a Woodchat Shrike & a Golden Plover were on the Airfield and a Golden Oriole & a Whinchat were at Bant’s Carn.
Bryher – A Golden Oriole and a Spotted Flycatcher.
Annet – A Great Northern Diver was offshore.
Inter-island waters – A Great Northern Diver was in The Roads.
Monday’s birds were:
St. Mary’s – The female Little Bittern was still in Lower Moors for its 30th day and a Lesser Whitethroat was also in Lower Moors. The summer-plumage Golden Plover was still on the airfield and the Night Heron flew from Holy Vale to Porth Hellick and landed in the pool between the Ringing Station and Carn Friars Farm.
St. Agnes – A Short-toed Lark was on Wingletang Down.
Tresco – 6 Common Pochards and a Spotted Flycatcher.
Annet – 6 Great Northern Divers and 150+ Manx Shearwaters were seen near the island from the evening Seabird special boat trip.
