Wednesday’s birds were:
St. Mary’s – A Wood Sandpiper was on Porth Hellick Pool, 2 Whimbrels were at Porthloo, 2 Ring Ouzels were on Porth Hellick Down and 1 was at Carn Morval. A Cuckoo was at Parting Carn and a Grasshopper Warbler was on the Garrison with another opposite Airport Lane.
Bryher – 3 Ring Ouzels and a a Great Northern Diver.
Inter-island Waters – A Great Northern Diver was in The Roads.
Thursday’s birds were:
St. Martin’s – A Bee-eater flew over Middle Town towards Lower Town.
St. Mary’s – A Wood, 2 Green and 2 Common Sandpipers were on Porth Hellick Pool and a Cuckoo was calling. A Turtle Dove was at Parting Carn and single Ring Ouzels were at Carn Friars, Porth Hellick Down, Giant’s Castle and Peninnis.
Bryher – A Whimbrel, a Bar-tailed Godwit, a Merlin and a Great Northern Diver.
Tresco – A Black-tailed Godwit.
Inter-island Waters – 4 Great Northern Divers were in The Roads.
